zappa45
Well I haven't seen this mod yet nor do I know if it is on the nexus here but....In order to load a mod it seems that you will go through the same steps as with oblivion,Morrowind, etc. Now I could be wrong here so this answer may not be the last word. If your mod has the texturre/mesh style files in it then you would need to find the skyrim data file in your steam folder. Mine is computer:c, program files, steam...then it sets a little harder. Because of steam we will have to search around to find the files that should be readily available. Mine is in the: SteamApps file. Then enter the ( common ) folder and then Skyrim. There you will find your Skyrim data files. To add mesh/texture files you may need to add a folder entitled meshes or textures into your data folder depending on what the mod looks like. Now because of the steam thing this could all be wrong and you may need to extract some of your own blood to get the mod into the files but I will assume that the mods will be installed the same way. After you have installed your mod and started the game go to the start up screen and there will be a category for mods which is titles something els. I would look and give you the exact name of the category but when I tried to start Skyrim to find out the steam account is causing an error so now I will have to reboot and wrestle with steam so sorry for that I will tell you later if I can start skyrim again. Anyway just enter there and activate your mod and it should work lol. Hope that helps good luck.
Tropxe
Do you know what a rar or zip file is? Yes: Read the readme that comes with the mod. No: Download WinRAR and use it to open the file you downloaded. Find the textures folder in that file and extract it (with WinRAR) to overwrite the textures folder in the data folder of the Skyrim directory. The Skyrim directory is at <wherever you installed Steam>\steamapps\common\skyrim. Edited November 14, 2011 by Tropxe
