Xacius
I've seen this mod done before with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Caves, buildings, and dungeons are too bright on the inside. Like Oblivion, they contain ambient lighting and green, glowing light sources in places where they shouldn't be. I'd like to see this addition, along with the requirement of a user-generated light source or night-eye. Thanks, Xacius
doddibot
Agreed, and stealth should correspondingly be harder, forcing you to stick to the shadows.
atrayu17
this would definiatly make the druegr more terrifying since they would be hard to see except for their eyes. i hope someone does this.
urgumflux
this was done in oblivion, hopefully it will come back. and stealth should correspondingly be harder, forcing you to stick to the shadows. this is a good idea.
RagnarMagnus
Yes make the caves pitch black please! I have lots of torches, and no use for them. Edited November 15, 2011 by RagnarMagnus
sammaelkhajiiti
Yes make the caves pitch black please! I have lots of torches, and no use for them. We would need a way to drop or throw lit torches as well. Having them should also be a reasonable option to do instead of just tossing a magelight. So, it would need some benefit that magelight doesn't give you.

I actually wouldnt mind haveing to switch to my weapon and fight in the dark, and switch back to explore. I know its a little Doom 3 ish, but im one of thoes that didnt use the "Duct Tape" cheat. I dont mind a little challange in games. most of the time there are fire balls being thrown every which way anyways so I doubt that im going to have a super hard time seeing things. RagnarMagnus
Hey imagine the atmosphere: You are alone in the dark cave, you can see only where the light of your torch can reach and you hear the monstrers in the dark. Drop a lit torch? great idea.
