NikitaDarkstar
I was wondering if anyone has a good tutorial on how to create custom posters for settlement building. So far I've created my .dds files (the _d ones anyway, not even sure if I need _s and _n ones for this) but I simply can't find a good guide on how to actually get them on a .nif and in to the game. I tried following a material swap guide but it used a piece of armor as an example and I had difficulties following along. So if anyone knows a good place to start, that'd be great. PS: I basically only really know photoshop, nifskope and the creationkit is still a bit of a mystery to me, so while I'm trying to learn it'd be nice to have a guide that really covers every step. ^^;
Ethreon
Copy any bgsm file and replace the diffuse with your own file. make sure the path contains / (at least I think its important). Replace mesh's material with yours. Add it to the workshop 1. copy a static object (preferably one of the posters) and replace the file path with the path to your custom object.2. copy a COBJ and replace the recipe's constructed object with the stat created at step 1. save plugin, test in game.
