Mod Compatability

I really love Francesco's mod, how it's set up, and everything it does. But this mod changes a LOT of things, so I'm constantly worried that something isn't going to work with it. I feel like a ton of mods have little things that say, "This works with all mods but OOO" or something, but none about Francesco.

 

So here's a pretty basic question about compatability:

Will the following mods work with Francesco's?

- Deadly Reflex

- Midas Magic

- Thieves Arsenal

 

The reason I bring this all up is that I installed a ton of mods back in spring of 06, but haven't updated anything since then... didn't get Knights of the Nine, Shivering Isles, patch, anything. My last patched version was 1.1.0.511. I decided I wanted to try out Deadly Reflex, but saw that it required OBSE (something I hadn't heard of)... and then after going there to download that, I saw that it required 1.2.0.216. So I installed that. Then none of my saves worked... gone was my level 29 warmage :(

 

So about an hour ago I basically decided screw it, I'm starting over... having not upgraded my game or mods in over a year and a half, I didn't want to know what I had screwed up by installing that patch. And now I'm going through all the mods I've missed out on, but refuse to leave Francesco behind (unless someone convinces me there is something better, other than OOO which I despise).

first off Fran's is an excellent mod and a must have for me as well. Now the reason you see warnings about OOO compatabilty in alot of mods is because

it conflicts with almost everything.Frans however conflicts with very few.This is because it alters mainly leveled lists and not many mods do that.Also with

Wrye Bash's master leveled lists you should be able to run it with 99% of all mods out there.

 

About your save game, Wrye Bash can probably help you get that working again as well,see the wiki page, Wrye Bash for details and links
