SajtosBuresz
Hey guys, i'm new on this forum and very hopeful. It looks nice. I'm playing Witcher 3 on Xbox One with all DLC-s. I have only a quick and short question. I heard that there is a small difference between the Steam version or the GoG verion and the console version?. What's this? Thanks for answers! EDIT: I talked about this with streamers, which is better, the controller or the keyboard + mouse with Witcher 3 but I'm thinking about to buy the Witcher 3 on PC also, i'm just curious how could i handle Geralt with keyboard and mouse. Ethreon
Steam requires steam to be open (not logged in) to run games.GoG requires nothing, and you can install games from them as many times as you wish (no DRM).Not sure about consoles.
SajtosBuresz
So there are no any difference between them ingame? Thanks for the quick answer about the client side. And any interesting or very useful mod(s) for witcher 3? Thanks!
Ethreon
I don't know about witcher 3. there should be some UI differences, controls, maybe some performance enhancements for console version, but I can't say for certain. Nope, use the search function of the website.

ddavies10693
I have noticed a much larger percentage of people claim to have issues with updates from GoG not working. For example people may receive seemingly broken scripts after updates, before they do anything themselves. I'm not sure what exactly causes this or why it seem to happen more frequently with GoG. I'm also not sure if the version numbers between Steam and GoG always line up perfectly, but again this is based on what I've seen other people write, as I don't use GoG myself.
