Some quick questions!

Hey there,

as i have not found anything for some of them via the search i want to ask here:

1) What's the indicator, that some quests / task on a quest are to high for you - only try and fail?

2) What's the indicator on which "armor smithing set" is "about right for my level" - that's sort of tricky and depends on the feeling i know, but e.g. ebony on lvl 28 is OP and steel is UP so there is orc armor left but it took a me some time to figure this out, cause steel worked regularly as well.

3) At which locations you may buy horses except of

Whiterun, markath and windhelm?

4) What's the trigger for a finishing move? (both, yours and the one of enemies, cause sometimes i get one even though i am on 3/4 health).

5) Is there any "approximatly" hint on which level you "should" be and where to stand in the main storyline at that point?

6) Is there any clue to find out that some bosses are MUCH more powerful than i could handle, beforehand? (esp some bandit and mage bosses) (kinda same like 1. question)

7) Is there anything theorycrafting about stamina/health/magicka point spending depending on what you play is advised?

8) If you marry e.g. the one girl in whiterun which wanted to fight you with only fists and may join you on your journey, will she still be able to do so when we are married?

9) If i kill a questboss before getting the quest is there any way to reset the boss to complete the quest (doing other stuff / jumping around etc, did not work).

10) Any hint on when to attack some traveler without getting a bounty?

11) Sort of "red line" between the cities like when to go where to keep difficulty challenging but not too hard?

12) Do you need stamina as mage? (not playing, but thing about playing one ;) )

13) Are the only ppl you can marry ppl you have done quests for or can do quest for?

14) Is there any companion that heals you instead of tanking/using the bow?

15) When to join the empire/rebels without getting denied the access to quests?

Thanks a lot for your help!

1/ Pretty much that. Go in, if it seems too hard it probably is. Give it a few tries of course but, you should realise if something is 1-2 hitting you.

2/ Ebony is OP for 28? I'm wearing Dragon Plate at 25. There's no real indicator, it's merely limited by what you're capable of making. If you think you're taking too much damage then it's time to upgrade.

3/ Any stables you find outside of cities, just have a look. You also get a horse during the Dark Brotherhood quests.

4/ I've done a finishing move on an enemy with 100% health so it's definitely not a %, assumedly just an amount based on the damage of your weapon.

5/ Not really. Figure it out as you go along, the game is meant to be open world and do what you want. You could be level 40 before even touching the main game.

6/ No. Just run in and try it out, exploration and experimentation are the name of the game.

7/ Well it's obvious isn't it? Pure melee character does Health/Stamina, pure magic character does Health/Magic with maybe a bit less health. Just use common sense based on what you feel you need.

8/ No idea.

9/ Dungeons and the like respawn after one month so give that a try.

10/ When nobody else can see you? Just use common sense.

11/ No. You can go anywhere at any level. There's no governing ideas just go where you feel is right.

12/ I can't imagine so, stamina is mainly useful for power attacks which obviously you don't use as a mage. However, you do need stamina for carrying items so unless you're going to use a spell to help (If there are any) then you'd need a little bit.

13/ No idea.

14/ No idea.

15/ You're always going to be denied access to quests for the opposite faction, just go for one and then do the other on your other playthrough.

A lot of your questions revolved around difficulty and direction. Don't expect the game to hold your hand and just use common sense.

Thanks for you answers (: hoping for more.

One more question:

16) What's the difference between sidequests showing up under "miscelaneous" and the ones that are not under this point?

Also:

10/ When nobody else can see you? Just use common sense.

Sometimes if i break in a house e.g. at night which is somewhere completly out of the city i get a bounty so i do not really understand that in detail ;)

Also a question revolving around that: Is it possible to kill let's say like 3 ppl in a house without getting a bounty? I don't think so but maybe somebody knows.

I play it this way (lvl 28 and not done the mainquest since "the way of the voice" the furstrating thing is that sometimes the enemies esp. the bosses do one or two hit me (AT THE END OF THE DUNGEON) while every "trash mob" is sorta normal hard (playing on master so they'r all little beasts ;) )., that really su.cks.

Hm ok then i have a specific question about the bounty:

It's about the temple quest where you have to steal the statue in markath - beware: I do not want you to tell me how to do it cause i want to figure it out myself - but i tried to kill the priests there and the one getting to you after "a night to remember" is not killable so i cannot lose the bounty, that's intended then, and i have to find another way, isn't it?

Also please this one :
