SargeWashington
TO ALL CITIZENS OF THE COMMONWEALTHFOR IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION As you have no doubt noticed in the recent past, certain actions have been undertakenwhich resulted in The destruction of the facilityand group known as the Institute Since that time, we have sought to rebuild our lives. However dastardly their schemes, and brutal their methodsThey without a doubt held many secrets vital to the continuation of humankind. Therefore, I ask each and every one of you to helpin putting their collective genius to work for the betterment of all.Effective immediately, anyone working for the Institute whowithout threat of death or torture, pledges their skills to aid those around themwill be pardoned, and given new opportunities in the settlements of the Commonwealth. Crimes against humanity notwithstanding, their expertise is likely our best hope for survival. With their knowledge combined with our ingenuity,we will rise from the ashes of our world, and reclaim our place upon Earth. Printed by Publick Occurrences, 2287/88 Basically, I always found the ending of Fallout 4 to be a bit silly. Nate (Generic name for male protag) has probably had more than his share of war by this point in his life. Seriously, he's lived through the Big Flash. So what does Bethesda have us do (as soon as we can tear ourselves away from building ball tracks)? SET OFF ANOTHER NUCLEAR EXPLOSION. Am I the only one that sees an issue with that? But that request is for another day. This of course is for actions post MQ. Specifically, finding the survivors of the Institute (assuming you let anyone evacuate). I would dearly love to see a mod where you, as the General of the Minutemen (Brotherhood would probably execute them on the spot, after all), find the surviving scientists and personnel, and in an effort to bring them to a certain level of justice (varies, depending on crimes), either execute them (Justin Ayo/anyone who caused the deaths/replacements of Commonwealth citizens) or force them to ply their trade in service of the Commonwealth as a form of penance (Bioscience (Flora and fauna), Advanced Systems (Power, Water purification). Surviving synths would be handed over to the Railroad/allowed to integrate into society, and Coursers would either become raider-style enemies, or simply fade into the background noise. In that way, you would be able to tie up the loose ends left by the Institute, as well as advance the rebuilding of the Commonwealth. Degby1
This could be made possible by either running a script that enables them after the MQ and spawns them in varying locations or adding a condition to the pre-existing one. There should be enough generic dialogue to be able to splice a response from them and then give them generic idle dialogue once you have recruited them. To make it more challenging, a high charisma speech check could be used for something other than getting extra dough out of someone for once. (If such things are still codable.)

(If such things are still codable.) I'm actually looking into 2 mod requests who want a diplomatic ending across the board, something that I also want! As for your recruiting mod, high charisma would be easier in the speech options as the game has been dumbed the f*#@ down so that only charisma has an effect on speech challenges. I think atleast for the sake of getting an alpha "proof of concept" out the door, stick with just using the charisma requirement. The science requirement could be added at a later date.
