Jacina
Why bother training each level? You can just get that by actually playing the game, training is just a lazy way out :P
Ashrok
Well... I dont get the point of banking in Skyrim, its not like Oblivion where you get to choose wich skills are easy to level up and wich are not, so you have to let a trainer do the work for you. They are all leveling at the same speed. Even if u have like 100 Heavy + 100 Two Hand, your skill in Conjuration will level at the exact same rate than it would at level 1. The only thing that makes a difference are the guardian stones you choose, but you can reallocate them anytime. Some enemies arent even scaled, yesterday I found a frost dragon sitting on a tower wich I didnt stand a chance against, though I was easily able to kill the dragons wich appeared above me earlier. And in other instance I got attacked by wolves wich were easy 1hit victims. If you level up through a non-combat spell, deal with it. There's always a way out, most likely by using the benefits that skill gave you.F.e. take pickpocketing, you have boosted it up from 15 to 70 just for the weight perk, so now you gained 6 levels of no combat and a mudcrab is beating you to death because you just went out thinking of no evil. How do you fix that? Look at what pickpocketing gave you besides of the weight perk: Money! Shitloads of it. Even if you have not found the thieves guild yet, you can easily get like 2 to 3 grands in whiterun I believe, just by taking the money and making gems into jewelry at the smith. And with that money you can just buy the 6 level better armor and weapon that the vendors are offering you now.No it still wont be as easy to beat that mudcrab (have you met the guardian mudcrab? :psyduck: ), as it would have been when you went full combat, but hey you got no more moneyproblems, just buy that 2-Hand Axe with the 20 Fire damage enchant, and let it do the work ;) Alchemy -> Potions & Poisons for combat + moneySpeechcraft -> Money because of better prizes and you basically just get it by selling/buying :wallbash: Sneaking -> 15x Dagger damage should be enough, oh and trainers are basically free :whistling: Lockpicking -> see Pickpocketing + free gear from chestsSmithing -> Money + gear + gear enhancement (!)Enchantig -> Money + Uberstats on everything Forgot anything? Its a game, play it! ;) Best regards
deliriousnomad
hey thanks to all who posted. I am not looking for an easier game... I was dumbstruck at how ridiculously hard the first quest in that line was... I thought I had read somewhere you could level without a bed (yes) was hoping I could control it with a bed is all... this is my solution... I am wandering exploring the low/green valleys... those quest are taking me to all the towns and things I encounter there are much much easier... I'm not going to work on the main quest until 15-25 or so... then I shall be well equipped to take on the mountains (I hope at least)... buying skill points still forces you to level... I'll be damned if I am spending gold for stuff I can do adventuring... unless it is a lagging skill, in my case sneak... I can't sneak up on a dead Mammoth... let alone a living breathing enemy! :) I know how to make $$$ I was only asking him about how to pay for levels vs. adventuring/looting... Ima keep right on doing as I am... it has been a blast playing this Dark Elf, One Handed, Light Armour, Destruction, Marksmen, hybrid Thief... :D super awesome game thus far! deliriousnomad
@natelovesyou banking levels... maybe it is the wrong way to say it... OBLIVION you could have the XP for 10 levels... but each time you slept it only raised you one at a time...
