segomil
Good morning everyone ! I have a quad processor ... that I bought specifically for Skyrim.I just learned that the Skyrim engine does not use the full power of Quad processors (1 core or two ?)If this is true, im really disappointed !Do we have a mod wich is in preparation to activate the full power of Quad in Skyrim? Thanks a lot
British89
Can you not just open task manager ( CTRL + ALT + DEL) and go to processes and find the game process, Right click it and "Set Affinity" there you can select how many cores you want to use. :pirate:

It's kinda like, how many balls can you juggle? The OS is willing to give you 4 balls, the game only knows how to hold one and look stupid while it calls it juggling. (So no, that doesn't do anything.)
BarefootWarrior
Interesting. I'm running a six core AMD and everything is running smoothly. I dunno, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

(Granted I was not previously watching my CPU that closely) So that's at least 3 cores being used. Can't say for certain that it didn't use more than one previously, but there's no way it can go above 25% and -not- be using more than one...
