Minutemen 3 faction neutral ending or Railroad ending?

I went with the Minutemen/Railroad/BOS ending on the basis of them all being human and relatively "good guys" and with the state of the Commonwealth, it neede all the "good guys" that it could get. I wish that the game gave me the option to pacify/eradicate the mutants/raiders etc and bring peace to the Commonwealth.

If I had the rate the endings it would go like this. Keep in mind this is my personal preference. Others will disagree, some strongly.

 

1. MM 3 surviving faction ending (best option for after main quest game play)

2. BOS

3. MM normal ending (the BOS get taken out along with the Institute)

4. Institute

5. RR

I have complete the ending for all four factions.

 

  • The MM ending seemed to give the most options for continuing play in the game but without the Institute (of course).
  • The RR ending was satisfying because the scene of the Prydwen burning and falling is pretty cool and the sneak into the Prydwen is a challenge (and I am not overly fond of he BoS, anyway).
  • The Bos Ending had me killing off the RR. That was an exercise in stealth and ranged killing (kinda like clearing out the Cheydinhal Sanctuary in Oblivion).
  • The institute ending is the only one where the institute survives and it had me destroying the RR and the BoS. It was too bloodthirsty for me to enjoy.

 

So I will do the MM ending for all future play-through.

pretty much agreed, lately I've been finding I've been feeling bloodthirsty towards the authorities, and I find this to be more or less similar in my case

that said, I might rather pick the railroad and minutemen together because I figure the railroad would probably alienate everyone to the point of ineffectual'ness if they DID try to do a takeover of the commonwealth

 

plus there's still threats out there, and the synths do in fact have issues that need to be taken care of, that said I'm not adamant in my belief the RR is appropriate to handle them, but a large enough number of their group is good enough and the overall group small enough where I'd rather they survived mostly, even if one is tempted to pop off desdemona's head

 

plus to be honest, I'm using LZ institute mod, and between them and the brotherhood they provide armies that I find worth killing (they both use lots of power armour)
