pulseoflight
you look sick. Are you all right?" Apparently, I'm very sickly-looking. I don't know if it has to do with the specific look I decided to go with for my character, or if I had come in contact with someone at some point that makes me a target for the social plague. I don't want NPCs thinking that I'm lower-than-dirt guttertrash, their opinions mean a lot to me. ) : But seriously. I'm not ill, no diseases, checked active effects and there's nothing going on. Tried the shrine, tried a pot, etc. No clue. Any ideas?
FoolyFooly
I noticed this as well. Maybe if your character is really pale? Seems unlikely but it's possible. Could be a bug. Edited November 14, 2011 by FoolyFooly
pulseoflight
I noticed this as well. Maybe if your character is really pale? Seems unlikely but it's possible. Could be a bug.I made this guy fairly mid-toned, closer to dark skinned than pale. I tried eating a bunch of vegetables and meats, and I don't drink in-game either, so all my mead is untouched. I have no idea what gives these people the idea that I'm ill. I run plenty and sleep enough too. I think I'm getting too immersed.
foxkas
Lol I get that constantly as well. Would be handy to know why. Maybe I've eaten something etc that wasn't good.
brianjholleran
This started for me when I got infected by vampires in the Companions questline, I think. A cure disease potion did the trick.
PsYchotic666Joker
lol don't worry they just mean you look sick because they do not know you got into a fight with some vampires and got the disease lol....wait 3 days and bam i'm so gonna call you lestat :D
FoolyFooly
Well I was a Werewolf and thus it was impossible for me to get infected. And i'm pretty sure that they can't tell by looking that I turn into a giant Wolf and maul people.
Lyanheart
I've noticed that a few NPC's continue to say "you look sick" even after you cure a disease. As long as you don't have any red letters in your effects menu, you're fine. Maybe those people are just jerks?
DorkDiva
I wonder if character weight effects this. My Argonian has been getting silly comments like this and she is a new character.

Sleep at any inn or Jorvaskr in Whiterun (not at home; well, my own bed in Breezehome doesn't grant me any well-rested points - just anotrher bug) for 24-48 hours and they should leave you alone with their comments. At least this worked for me.
