Dullahan
Hello everyone. Thanks to those who encouraged my modding to begin. Would a Book Series mod be a good starting point for a novice? Unlike most other book mods, the books would take place in other lands, as you will see from the excerpt below. And if so, is there a character limit? (part of a book i am working on, called 'A Light in the Darkness') Excerpt from the final chapter: Final Paragraphs "As Annabella Sukavia's shade stood staring down at her beloved son, watching as his blood slowly left his body, a tear of joy crept down her ethereal cheek. What she had wanted for so long, the reunion, was finally occurring, even at a time of tragic loss. As Vincente Tyrinave lay dying in the arms of his brother, he glanced with perfect love and a peaceful acceptance at his mother, whom he could not stop gazing at even with his eyesight diminishing, but his words were directed to his greatest enemy, and also his greatest friend, his brother. 'Hah' Vincente chuckled softly as he felt his spirit leave, quietly choking on blood. 'I never thought I would die for an ancient enemy. But then again - the vendetta has died, has it not?' His gaze shifted to his brother, Eitienne, hope in his eyes, as well as an ancient apology, a need to be forgiven. 'Yes, my brother' whispered Eitienne, glancing at his father, Lord Alacious who was having trouble concealing his tears. As the head of the most powerful witch society in Alvanae he knew he had to be strong, but he could not help thinking of the chances he had missed, to get to know the son of his wife, who he though had been lost forever. 'This is it' Vincente mumbled, a peaceful expression crossing his face as he allowed his spirit to leave his body. Annabella said nothing as she watched her loving sons reconcile after so many years of hatred, so many years of despair. 'When I'm gone..' Vincente started in a whisper, his soul returning to Atraeus 'Will you remember me?' Etienne held Vincente in his arms, the vampire who was his bane from the moment of their existence, this man who had been a part of his greatest loss, and of great tragedy, this man who had showed that he had a heart towards the end of his 23 years of life. He smiled down at him now, as he considered his answer. 'As long as blood flows through my veins, as long as the Alvanaean winds soar whisper through the glen, as long as the Sun-Mother Etrene continues to shine, I will remember you. We shall remember you until the end of time, dearest brother.' As Etienne was speaking, Vincente quietly died. However, his shade was standing beside their mother, Annabella Sukavia, the Goddess of Light, the woman they both adored from day one. He was smiling now as he looked back upon the realms of life. 'I will remember you too, brother.' smiling at their mother, he crooked his arm, and she placed her arm inside his. 'Shall we, Mi'lady?' Vincente asked her. 'Quite the gentleman after all, aren't you?' Annabella chuckled as she allowed her son to lead her back to the beauty of Atraeus. Soon they were gone. Alacious put an arm around his son, the future lord of Alvanae, and together they walked home, after one hell of a night. Unknown to all present, Isong had been collecting the blood of the assassins. Now he looked after Alacious and Etienne as they left. The imp briefly considered going after them, but decided against it. He would miss the humans, but he had a job to do. Looking down at his master, Vincente, he had only one purpose in mind. Resurrection. Pouring the blood into the mouth of his beloved liege, the man who hadn't treated him as a familiar, but as a friend. he stood there, with an impish grin, patiently waiting. Dawn approached, and the imp glanced up at it with his small head. Chittering softly, he knew that, somehow, everything would work out. As the dawn brings new possibilities, new challenges, he knew that his life could change too. The blood didn't seem to be working. He glanced down at his master, chittering sadly for a moment, before returning back to the Manor. He did not see Vincente's finger twitch, nor did he see the blue light that filled his eyes as they began to open. Other ideas in mind for stories would be tales of a modern-day dhampir, as a sidekick, has a Familiar by the name of Rivendaar, who has an ability to shift into the form of a beautiful woman to assist him in stealth, thanks to her Panther form. The main character will be able to shift into the form of a Crow, and his familiar will be taking on many shapes. this book would be 'modern' as it would include the internet. TheTerminator2004
What exactly do you mean by this? Do you mean a series of books within Oblivion? If so, that would be easy to do. Or do you mean a mod based on a series of books? If so, that'd be harder, but depending on how much you want to do, how skilled you are, and, most importantly, how dedicated you are, it is still possible. Nice story, btw :)
