PowderdToastMan
I thought my fellows who frequent the hardware and software section would enjoy this bit of information. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/skyrim-performance-benchmark,3074.html They do both gpu and cpu tests They explain how to disable the fps limiter in the ini file
N3C14R
I find Skyrim alright my on 580 I guess, decent fps 40 to 60 with everything on ultra. The only time I experience some slight slowdowns was when entering Markarth or when my HDD was doing a defrag or something useless like that. Illiad86
Love how they say my card (5770) on the settings I have it have gets very low FPS. I'm getting 40-60 FPS outdoors on Ultra 4xAA, 8x AF (prolly could turn it up to 16x, haven't bothered) 1920x1200. I'm quite surprised they didn't run it at 1200 either, but 1080 is the most common resolution these days. But, it possibly has to do with that I have my CPU at 4.0GHz...this game is as much CPU intensive as it is GPU. I'm a happy camper though, runs fantastic and my computer cost next to nothing to build :D
