JordanJ Posted November 14, 2011 Share Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) First of all, I'm totally new to this modding thing. I know how to use FOMM and how to install mods manually, but that's it. Since installing a bunch of mods from the site, I've had problems with my game crashing ("FalloutNV has stopped working") or just freezing (ball stops moving in the roulette dish) during loading screens, and sometimes outside of them. This happens every time and I can't move between maps at all. I've looked around the forums and Googled the problem until I was blue in the face and still can't figure it out, but the consensus seems to be that it's caused by the number of mods you have installed and the order they're listed in FOMM. Is there something I'm meant to change? Is BOSS supposed to do it for me? Because there was no difference to the game when I ran it after BOSS, it still freezes and crashes during load screens. JordanJ Posted November 15, 2011 Author Share Posted November 15, 2011 My mods were all installed recently, so they're all up to date, I think. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mods (several times), making saves without any of the mods installed, reloading from old saves, and even starting over completely after removing all of my save files to a backup folder. I am STILL getting freezes and crashes. I've tried everything I can think of. It's giving me a headache, so I'll tackle it later... but in the meantime, if anyone has a solution that doesn't involve deleting all of the mods, I'd love to hear it. Better still is if there's a way for me to continue playing with the character I put some 40 or 50 hours into. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
