Edit: There are already rings on the Fallout 4 Bethesda mod files so this is possible. The creator of the rings did not post it online and I can't seem to download any mods through the game.

The author of that mod is also working on an actual stargate for fallout 4

And here is a nexus link to the rings!

I am very impressed by the work that Mod Author has done with that stargate. One of my biggest disappointments of the past few years (gaming wise) was the loss to the public of a Stargate Online Game. Sadly the game never saw full production or even a debut, due to the Core Developer being a scam artist and basically stealing about $4m (if my memory serves me correctly) of investors money that had been put into the pot toward the design and implementation of a game that I think was to be titled STARGATE:Virtual Worlds or some such. After getting ripped off like that, the Movie Studio felt that too much time had passed to have the game be successful, (sadly due to the tepid ratings from the short-lived spinoff series STARGATE: UNIVERSE) so they have never licensed another project based on Stargate. I myself still get a tiny thrill from hearing the Stargate theme music, its just a reminder of my youth I guess. Still, I thought the concept of a Stargate game had almost limitless potential for online play. Each gate can lead to a totally different world. Maybe if dreams come true, we will one day see a revival of Stargate and a fantastic video game to go with it.

I didn't know about that! Frankly the whole thing with MGM and stargate games is a joke, SG1 and SGA have INSANE fan-bases and we'd take any MMO/RPG/Action Adventure game at this point! Cancelling a project based on SGU ratings was a poor move :/ Atleast modders like ShatteredSteel continue to bring our dreams to reality. In the comments section of that Rings mod he mentions more about the actual stargate mod and it seems he's building the whole SGC as a dungeon, and I assume atleast one, hopefully multiple worlds will be available. Not sure if he plans to have any quests OR NPCs associated with it yet though, fingers crossed for that!

It is a sad thing but other series are also losing some fan-based support and enthusiasm due to slow/delayed game project results. Case in point is the Firefly Online game, which has been in production for close to four years now with only a sort of game-wiki and a fly-around the sector map as a result. ( I have neglected to mention the mini-adventure available when people purchase a $5 upgrade to the Cortex -- mainly because I have heard its very basic and repetitive, and pretty much is just an advertising attention grabber for the Firefly CCG/Boardgame).

Its quite astonishing to me given that the original actors have been so gracious in contributing their time and voice talents to help move the production forward, but more than a year later the game is still not in what I would consider even a beta stage. The last official update I have seen to Firefly Cortex was made in Spring of 2015. So I can't fault MGM "too much" for being a bit reluctant; although as a fan of the movie and SG1 and SGA, and yes I even enjoyed aspects of SGU, I felt such deep regret when I learned that the game project had been cancelled. I was eagerly awaiting the chance to possibly be a beta tester or even grab a lifetime charter subscription. There was actually some very good work on an independent 'unofficial' Stargate game being done by a French Developer, but once again, I monitored that for about a year and things seem to have stalled after getting to the point of creating the 'Gate Room" ( which looked beautiful ----raw and a bit unpolished, but beautiful)

That's why I love seeing Mods come along that add a whole new dimension to FO4 -AND- give the players a joyful memory crossover with other beloved series. Also, I agree completely with another poster that said they would love to have the Staff weapon. That would be too cool in FO4. Way cooler than the Alien Blaster or even the Nuka-Blaster (but nothing beats the Nuka Suits...lol)

That, and a zat! Didn't skyrim have mods for those anyway? I wouldn't be surprised if we see them both somewhere down the line.
