  1. Someone had an idea to ... bring Virgil out to a settlement. After reading this Mod suggestion, I would think it a better Mod idea lore-wise to move Virgil into the K-21b facility under the Abandoned Shack and have it sort of turned into a science/research center that would also have extra living space (beds, safe storage, cooking equipment, etc) so that the Sole Survivor could also use it as a player home. Maybe 6 beds, (enough to accommodate Virgil, the Sole Survivor, and two Companions, along with two of the beds being used by guards that watch the top entrance in tandem with Virgils own protectron units from his old cave) and full crafting stations, although placing an emphasis on science and medical stations in the renovated decor would fit such an idea/theme best. Then if the Modder was very crafty, they might find a way to incorporate some radiant quests, by means of....mini-broadcasts through Radio Freedom, maybe just a code phrase that when the Sole Survivor heard it while listening to Radio Freedom, would alert him that Virgil needs something. Might be fun to be listening to the normal broadcasts and suddenly hear a short "Mister Green needs Mister Blue", message. Then the Sole Survivor can visit Virgil and find out that He needs....uhmm..... 20 pieces of mutfruit...lol... or 4 test tube racks, or some Stingwing glands...etc. I know that sometimes radiant quests are a pain, but it really does seem that Virgil is out of the game picture once you visit him when he is cured. Afterall, finding a generalized cure for the FEV retrovirus has to be a priority for the 'good' player that is trying to rebuild a stable Commonwealth. Of course, just turrning K-21b into a normal player home would be fun too.
  2. No operating table, but a gurney is available in...ermm...Homemaker, I think. It has three different styles, totally laid back (straightened out), and two others with the torso section raised a bit to varying degrees. The gurney itself is covered in what appears to be a red leather. It's what I use in all of my Clinic/Lab/Medical Center areas
  3. Another very similar thread here, where we have been talking about this same subject. You might enjoy the reading there. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4883230-resurrect-your-spouse/&do=findComment&comment=42652485
  4. The mask style is called a Domino Mask, and yes, I found it odd that it wasn't part of the Silver Shroud costume.
  5. I had the pleasure of meeting the actor before his untimely death. Before he gained national fame (of sorts) as Ernest P. He was also Sergeant Glory (the spokes-character for a dairy/juice maker) for several years. Very humorous man, and very down to earth. He filmed one of his movies just blocks away from my first apartment in the city, used the library in our neighborhood as the City Hall in the movie he was filming then.
  6. I have been going through my thread update notices and found this one that is also about the same topic. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4841740-mod-idea-nate-nora-resurrection-and-follower/?view=getnewpost
  7. This idea was discussed in more detail a few months back, I remember because I was a small part in that conversation too. If you are thinking of moving forward with your idea, it might be best to check out what is already available in the Mod called.... Northland Diggers. There isn't any sort of quest involved with it but there is a Mailbox/mail service addition to the Mod.
  8. Hi, I could get behind this idea. You are right about the powerfist options being a bit too limited. I think your ...ripper fist and electro-fist are naturals.
  9. lol... I would vote for this Mod to be created, except....I found the Gatorclaws to be a bit too........... boring actually. I didn't feel like they were too original, just a Deathclaw with a gator mask on its head. But still, I wouldn't mind a Mod that added a few Gatorclaws in the main Commonwealth area, sort of done in a 'Lake Placid' sort of storyline...lol, and even greater if someone used a Betty White face for the settler that is feeding/raising the Gatorclaws.
  10. Actually there are several ST themed Mods.... mostly for the weapons, And others have made suggestions / requests to have some clothing made too, but I haven't seen any of those come to life yet.
  11. Cute Outfit, and I would love to see a CBBE version for my NPC's....but there have been numerous postings that Mods from other games, cannot be directly ported, even if the author of the skyrim version of the mod gave prior permission for the assets to be used within Skyrim. First, the mod specifics are different between the two games as well, so some changes, even though they might seem minor would need to be done. It would help if the original author posted the assets from the cheerleader mod into a F)4 format, and then gave permission for their use. But yeah, would be a cool outfit for some NPC's...and probably some Players would enjoy wearing it too.
  12. It is surprising that one of the most primitive ( and thereby) common slug throwers isn't represented at all in any form of fallout weaponry. Not even a larger variety such as a trebuchet (siege weapon) is found in the Commonwealth. In a post apocalyptic setting, I think a small handheld projectile thrower would have been made, if only by children.....lol But if you ever watch the tv show "Z Nation", then you can see how effective something like a slingshot can be, just watch the character named '10K' in action :)
  13. It is hard to build inside several types of buildings, but I know what you mean. I use the 'Conquest' Mod quite a bit, usually with some good results, but it never ceases to amaze me that I can't build much of anything inside a church. Best church locations I have tried are in Salem and in Jamaica Plain.
  14. I would love being able to adorn the female characters with more jewelry, and maybe something like armbands for men and women. I have noticed a necklace that is used by the Raider gang, the Pack, but when I have tried to add it to the clothing of my NPC's. I never actually see the necklace on them in 1st person view.
  15. Okay, coming back to this idea, and seeing all the postings, I wanted to say a few things. Before I do.... I just want to be fair to those that might be reading and not already been flooded with spoiler overflow so... So, thats my theory. It does seem to fit all the evidence contained within the game. As far as getting dialogue for a Nora NPC, that shouldn't be too hard for a talented Modder to take the female voiced lines for a Sole Survivor and port them over to be used for a Companion NPC.
  16. I wouldn't mind seeing this Mod Idea become a reality. I thought for all the insistence that Desdemona does about "Its your decision, its your name, your life"........ they gave us very FEW choices for a Railroad Agent code name. I would have liked to have seen at least a dozen possibles, instead of just the 4 or 5 that they offer. I first thought I was going to be able to just input my Agent name, like they have as option before you leave the Vault for the first time. I had ideas running through my head of cool codenames like.... Agent Omega.......... or....Ramrod .......... or Timebandit ............. or ....Nightslayer...... even something humorous like.... One Shot One Drop... lol.
  17. You can try the 'Conquest Mod" it will allow you to build a campsite...or if you have enough build components on you, you can build a workshop and then scrap and build within the AoE of the workshop. Then once you are done you can dismantle the workshop.
  18. Hmm I had some time to play today and just to test, I tried adding the caf_animflavorsmoking command idle to 4 different NPC's... it didn't work for any of them. On screen message was that script was not found?? Anyone else having this issue with the smoking idle or any other idle animations?
  19. I know this sounds a bit strange, since I know its not from a Mod, so much as its just an option to use idle animations, but in the past I have used the Caf_animflavor<insert action> command to give the smoking idle to a few NPC's. Two are bartenders in different settlements and I just felt it 'worked' for their look, and the look of the bar. The other is the daughter of one of the farm owners in a settlement. I just thought from her dialogue in game that she would be looking for something a bit rebellious to do, so I gave her the smoking animation idle. For weeks and weeks the NPC's followed their scripts and seemed like they had their usual behavior down pat. Until last week, I went to one settlement and noticed the bartender never smoked. Hmmm.... I thought, must be an off day for him. Not a big issue, just something I noticed. 2 days later I visited the other settlement that has a bartender that smokes. She wasn't smoking......so I decided to try the idle animation command again. It didnt register as a valid command. I tried again, doublechecking my spelling. Still...no result. I tried a third time, just to be sure my sanity wasn't in question, but still...no result. Of course I find it odd that other NPC;s in the game still smoke..... just that it seems I am unable to use console commands to activate such behaviors now. So, I am wondering if Nuka World somehow added scripts into the game that have changed or invalidated the caf_animflavorsmoking command. Anybody else seeing this same situation occur?
  20. Personally, I wanted a bit more of a grey solution. I wanted to conspire with the Operators to eliminate the other two crews and then have them become more of a group of legitimate operators ...working alongside the Traders. That way the Operators Gang gets a 50% cut of the profits of the park with the agreement that they handle the slightly more dangerous duties of providing security for the place, the Traders get their freedom and a 40% share for handling the running of the Market and whatever attractions that the united effort can restore to working order (with the assistance of the guy from the Nuka-Cade) ---------------- and 10% going to the OverBoss.... me. All Under my command.
  21. Well, you are in luck...........a little bit. I asked about this same sort of Mod about 3 months ago, and I got it ----sort of. Another fan of Cheers made a Mod that places a workshop into the Prost Bar, However, the Mod isn't without its drawbacks. Depending on what and where you scrap some of the debris in Prost Bar, you sometimes wind up with a flickering area leftover. Clean...but flickering. One of the biggest issues I had though was that after I scrapped a ton of things, with the intent to replace them with items in better condition (booths.,..stools, chairs, tables, etc) I was unable to place any new items. I do not personally use the "place in red" mod, so that left me sort of stuck with a mostly empty bar now. Now, there is more news though. Another Mod author has made a Diamond City makeover Mod, that adds some turf to the interior of Diamond City, so it has much more of a green look. But one of the lesser known features of that Mod is that it also revamps the Home Plate player home.....clears it up a bit, and also adds a basement. Even lesser known is that in the far corner of the Home Plate residence is a hatch. That hatch goes to........ You guessed it, a tunnel that opens straight to the Prost Bar. Its pretty cool, but still has the drawback of not being able to build there. So even though its cleaned up quite a bit by that Mod author, you can't personalise it for your own use very much. But hey, it is cleaner...and you can run in there and have a sit down and take a breather. If rainbows were wishes I would love to see a Prost Bar Mod that lets the Player go in..... recognise the place from 2077, and decide to renovate it. The skeletons of Cliff and Norm would be unremoveable however for some reason ....until the bar has been restored a bit, at which point the Ghost of Cliff Claven would arise and say something like..... "The old girl deserves to live on again. Make us proud"....and then the ghost would disappear and the skeletons could be removed then................lol.
  22. HAHA !!! Yeah. That's a showroom performance. Makes me think that a new model line of Power Armor like that would need a REAL showroom. Maybe convert the wrecked Car dealership over by the Fallons' Dept Store near Jamaica Plains, turn it into an Atom Cats Power Armor Showroom. LOVED the idea of tinted glass for the helmet faceplate. And the chrome, Yes, GOT to have the chrome and the exhaust pipes.
  23. In one of the large open area rooms in the mod called ;base 1 Charlie, I set up a 'Rec Room' with a Shooting Range, Basketball Court, Bowling Lane, Billiard (pool Table). Of course none of the items have NPC animation to be usable, but they look nice as a theme. When I was time-consumingly setting up the bowling pins (and praying none of my NPC's go near it and knock them down) I was thinking maybe I would try using the pitching machine to act as a ball return...lol. A Bowling Alley mod would be great, especially since I would love to one day be able to renovate the General Atomics Shopping Mall bowling alley.
  24. Yes, I agree completely. I also wish that if a Mod comes out that focuses on putting some vehicles back on the road...(like Motorcycles), that the origin point in the game would naturally be AT the Atom Cats workshop. I would also love to see my Mod Request for a ....*lol* Flying Car to see the light of day as well. It would be so great if a dialogue chain crops up about Zeke asking the Sole Survivor about "How was it, cruisin around in those sleek buggies back in the day?" Then the Sole Survivor would tell the whole Atom Cats group how great it was to be in a convertible, driving down the roads at speeds that Power Armor can't match." Then dialogue would be exchanged on how bad the roads are now so a wheeled buggy wouldn't do. Then Zeke could come up with the fantastic idea to make a Flying Car !!! Yeah, I dream a lot....lol.
  25. Oh, so you haven't played Far Harbor yet. My bad. Glad I didn't reveal any inside storyline info. Well, then all I will say is...if you are a fan of hotels, then there is definitely a good surprise waiting for you in Far Harbor. A whole hotel based questline. 'Nuff Said.
