General Atomics Factory crashes

EDIT: The good ol' clean reinstall and starting with less mods did the trick, as always...

 

Hello everyone,

 

 

so far I seem to be the only one with that problem.

When I try to enter the stated building for the beginning of Automatron, the load screen freezes for a short amount of time and then will never finish loading, my explorer crashes and overall i have to to a restart of my computer.

 

As far as I know UI-Mods have a problem with the DLC, but I got none installed. I tried disabling mods, but that didn't work either.

I don't know about the crash but, it seems you should be able to close Fallout 4 without doing a computer restart.

 

When the game locks up on you, hold "CNTRL" and "ALT" then press "Delete". Click on Task Manager to open it up, then select Fallout 4 in your processes tab and click the End Process button.

 

That should work

And no, that stopped working, too. But again, a clean re-install did the trick.
