Rennn
My cpu is a Phenom II X4 at 3.2Ghz. I've heard that Skyrim is very cpu heavy, and I've heard that by default Skyrim is optimized for only two cores. Are there any tweaks to make Skyrim use more cores? Also, do you think my current cpu will bottleneck Skyrim at high / very high settings?
JimboUK
Skyrim is better with four, you'll be fine.
nabee
Skyrim is better with four, you'll be fine. where did you get that "information" ? sigh.. it is NOT better with four, reviews have shown that already. However it is also not THAT cpu intensive. phenom 2 at 3.2ghz should be fine.

Oh and don't use caps, it's considered shouting.
Rennn
Recommended says 'quad core', Tom's Hardware says 'dual core'. Either way, it looks like my cpu won't be much of an issue. I just hope I can get some good ini tweaks; I must've given myself ten extra fps tweaking Oblivion without even losing any graphics quality.
