Hey guys, after doing some of the main quest I got to Sky Haven temple, I took out my torch and noticed I couldn't light the braziers, WTF? I had to wait for Delphine and and Esbern to do it and they only lit 5 of them

 

Can anyone make/show me a mod that lets you press A on unlit braziers when you have a torch equipped to light them?

 

or perhaps let fire spells that are cast on them light them?

 

not sure if there's other places in the game with unlit braziers but I tell ya what, sky haven could use some more light.

 

Perhaps someone could wrap it into some sort of adventuring mod? making some of the lit braziers in dungeons unlit and whatnot, to make this implementation more useful than it would be if Sky Haven is literally the only place with unlit braziers

Something tells me a mod like that would not be possible, but I could be wrong.

 

There's really no need for torches anyway as it is now since there's so much natural lighting that you don't even need to worry about it...(Can't wait for Real Lights =/)

I strongly support this idea - and perhaps to be merge with the Enhanced shaders mod, because with this one on, it's rpetty dark inside.

And it's so stupid to not be able to light braziers with your torch....

Two things:

1) Mod request subforum is thataway.

2) It would be completely possible with in-game code. There are torch brackets in some of the mines in Skyrim that allow you to remove the torch that's in it, or put one in it if there's no torch there. The code is there, someone simply needs to expand it to the rest of the game.

3) There's also a Mod Dectives Detectives thread wherein you might ask if someone knows of such a mod. (I'll inform you now though: I don't think there is.)
