  1. The only thing I'm sad about is that your Pipboy - once again - stops the left side of your armor showing up
  2. Sounds like your own fault for stretching yourself too thin. Don't build an empire if you can't defend it / can't stand to lose a little. That sort of thing.
  3. In response to post #30252385. The same way Skyrim did it all those years ago. Textures and some meshes don't require the creation kit. Simpler mods could be converted over with little tweaking from previous titles. Most of the mods we'll be seeing will be textures, lighting, bug fixes, ect. Once the kit comes out, we'll be seeing more mods that need scripting coming out.
  4. Very very nice! I love the use of the Magic Duel at the end there. As Kevkiev said, I cannot type how much I enjoy your work. Keep up the fantastic work!
  5. TFC 1 - For those action poses and such. And just for seeing if something fell through the ground... player.modav carryweight -150 - I hate carrying 300 lbs worth of stuff, really immersion breaking. (I adjust it based on gender / body type naturally) setscale - Nothing more epic than fighting a giant demon, or being a slightly smaller character. (Skyrim Sizes is a must too) TCL - because jumping off a ledge in a cave and getting stuck in a brazier isn't fun. I think that about covers it. I reckon I'll start using player.additem 000000f 1000 in the future, because paying 1k to use the new face change npc is a little much.
  6. I had a similar problem with the end of the Dawnguard chain. The final script wouldn't start and the quest would not continue, however, if the script did run, he would turn invisible half way through the fight and nothing would happen. After about 15 re-loads I finally got it to work... Just keep loading the saves and hope it works. Dawnguard is extremely buggy; a staple for Bethesda.
  7. How does a different game make another game better? Enderal is just a separate game being made from Skyrim's engines.
  8. The Rift is my favourite. I enjoy Autumn the most of the seasons and having an area of Skyrim all fall'd out, well, how can I not like it? :D My least favourite would have to the Tundra up north. Namely the areas from Dawnstar - Windhelm. I love the snow, don't get me wrong, but the area itself is just so hard to navigate and using the realism mods doesn't help the area either; one missed iceberg jump into the water and I'm loading up a quick save. I have not actually explored the Reach fully, only followed the road to Markarth and back twice or thrice and gone to Sky Haven (I hate getting to that place...) but it looks like it has potential to be awesome. The cause of your CTD's is most likely a mod you have conflicting, btw.
  9. It would be cool...if there was any context to it. Why did you post it? To show someone else's opinion on the game? What's yours? And I don't get what some of the points he was saying. This is a game where you're suppose to do quests in different ways; it's not Bethesda's fault he didn't do a quest one way and missed out on some of the contents of it. And how did Beth nickel and dime us? 60 bucks for countless hours worth of content and freely modded is a good deal, I don't know what he's talking about. He wiped out the Dark Brotherhood, okay cool? How is that relevant at all to what his post is about...? He's against the storyline because he doesn't like politics. A fair argument...if you have no clue about the actual story, I suppose. His suggestion about the radiant quest is foolish - there would be nothing to do if they didn't keep going (Also, I don't think he knows what the main questline even is...). There are alternate starts for the game =/. I don't think he knows that you dont HAVE to do any quest...don't do the thieve's guild if you don't want to. I think this was his first Elder Scroll's game and he was expecting something impossible. His writing was atrocious as well and the way he structured the post made no sense at times. Just because a post is long doesn't mean it's a good post.
  10. Define "a few graphic improving mods" please. 5 bucks says OP is using SSAO high or something like that.
  11. Such a pointless thread. The game won't come out for at least another two years. If people are still jumping on the "OMG NEW MMO!" hype by that time, pc gaming would have died before then. To be honest, MMO's died out with WoW and this won't be any different. The only multi-player TES needs is two people being able to join a game together. That's it. Just two heroes running around Tamriel slaying trolls and bandits.
  12. Normally yes, but you need to click on the corpse to do so.
  13. Eh, let the console people deal with all the crazy problems and constant patches. I don't mind sticking with a stable (well, "stable") Skyrim if it means I have to wait a little longer for a DLC that I probably won't get until a few month after it comes out anyway. Plus that means the modders don't have to deal with making their mods compatible with the beta to stop the people from complaining. I can see it now... "WORST MOD EVER IT DOESNT EVEN WORK WITH TEH BETA OF DAHNGARFD UNINSTALL DOWNVOTE RAWR"
  14. I would need all my mods (well over 150+ gameplay changes) in order to get into Oblivion. Skyrim is a pretty decent game, but just like Oblivion, it needs mods to make it what it should have been. I like Skyrim, but I really want to wait for all the massive game overhauls to come out (something like OOO, or FWE for fallout) before I can really say that Skyrim was a great game. Some parts of Skyrim were spot on, but others always leave me wondering what the developers were thinking. Some examples are the NPCs and the way they act. Oblivion was pretty terrible, but Skyrim didn't even attempt to raise the bar. They still just stand around not doing anything for hours on end. Some of the scripts are terrible as well. Just like Oblivion, the lack of options when talking to them really drives me away from the game. I'm hoping a Choices and Consequences mod comes out soon....Another thing that irks me is that voice acting. Bethesda said they hired a lot more voice actors, but they failed to say they bloated the number with daedric gods and highly important quest npcs. You're still stuck listening to the same 7 some odd voice actors!!! The things they got right however, was the removal of the classes. I know a lot of people hated that, but I can't see how. The only difference between Oblivion and Skyrim was you picked the skills you wanted to level up in the very beginning instead of as you played. However, Bethesda failed to balance how the skills progressed, and once again the modders had to come and fix it. Skyrim isn't better than Oblivion because to be honest, both games kinda suck and left a lot of areas to be desired. I find (and found) it hard to get into both games without the modding community coming to my rescue. Thank you, modders. You do this series a great justice.
  15. This dlc fits with my Witch Slayer character to a tee! I can't wait to play it :D As for the story line? I hope it's not like the cannibals in Fallout 3. "So here you are, investigating some cries of help by people who don't know what they're talking about. We're not monsters, we just have a different way of life that is considered taboo by common people; will you kill us just because we're different? ALL of us? Before we kill you?" and then you can either let them live, or kill them all alone with no help from anyone and then no one cares about what you just did except three people. I want some epic battles where people don't die in one shot (*stares at Civil war*). I want espionage, treason, deceit! I want choices that actually have consequences, I want to sit there and stare at my screen thinking about the choices I have and what might happen when I select one.
  16. Hahaha rofl. Sorry, I just have to laugh at that. Good to hear your problem was resolved, though! :teehee:
  17. I saw a video a while back where someone had it happen. It most likely is a mod issue.
  18. Kudos given to you. That is a great idea. But it might make light armor raise slower. I want to raise my light armor as fast as possible. Still, I'll consider using a heavy shield. Would having light armor for everything except the shield make them both raise slower since both are being raised? Would it give normal gains for the light armor when I take hits (no blocking) and then slower gains with it for successful blocks with a shield? The amount of time it takes is dependent on how much of the kind you have on. If you wear full light armour, it will increase at the highest speed, if you wear a heavy shield, it will take a little longer. Think of it like this, there's 5 pieces of armour, if you switch out one for heavy it will behave as such: 5 = 100% Light, 0% heavy 4 = 80% Light, 20% heavy 3 = 60% Light, 40% heavy 2 = 40% Light, 60% heavy 1 = 20% Light, 80% heavy 0 = 0% Light, 100% heavy
  19. Interesting, I don't even have that in my ini. What section is it under?
  20. Good thing the MMO is being designed by a different company and is so far back in the Timeline that the lore won't matter in the actual TES games. Everyone knows the mmo will suck, Zen is just trying to cash in on the MMO phase - shame that train left years ago. You're trying too hard, mate. You can't compare something like Star Wars KotR and SWTOR; they're going to be completely different with the only similarities being "RPG" in the genre
  21. List your esp's and we can tell you if there's conflicts. I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet.
  22. About as creepy as there being an infinite amount of books that need to be found ;)
  23. I had a smile on the whole time I read it. Thank you for sharing :D She sounds like a awesome 8 year old!
  24. For me personally, I always forget to come back to the page after the 3 hours are up to endorse it >.<. Then, when I revisit for an update or something, I'm so excited about the update itself that I forget to hit the endorse button.
