Fallout Script Extender Issues

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I recently downloaded the script extender for Fallout, and I've been having issues. When I was downloading it, I was prompted to choose a program to open it up with, I didn't have anything suggested for me, and asked me if I wanted to go to the Windows Store to find something; like an idiot, I decided to use a preexisting program (In this case Adobe Acrobat Reader). I can't open extender up, because it doesn't work with Adobe Reader (Obviously). Now, I don't know how to fix this issue, and I also don't know what program is needed to download to the extender to, any help would be appreciate, thanks in advance!

Attached is a screenshot of what happens when I try opening the extender up.

If you don't know what program I'm talking about, I downloaded it from this site: http://fose.silverlock.org/

This is the actual link I used to download it. http://fose.silverlock.org/download/fose_v1_2_beta2.7z

You need winrar/winzip or any similar program. Download, install, run the program, open your archive in it and extract the files wherever you need, then proceed with the normal steps.
