Co0n
I think reducing the amount of available stats to only magic/health/stamina is one of the bad decisions bethesda made.Although they developed a really great game, I don't like how modern games got less complex. A warrior doesn't only have stamina and health, he also hast strength while a thief or assasin also might have agility to move faster, jump higher and attack faster.A Mage does not only have a huge manapool, he also needs talents to make spells stronger or improve mana regeneration. So my suggestion would be to add the following stats, if somehow possible: strength: increases attackpower and the number of items the character can carryagility: increases the attackspeed/movementspeed (sprintspeed?) and lets the character jump higherwillpower: increases the magicka regeneration ratemagic: increases the manapool and the magic damage (add magic damage modifier) so there would be a total of 6 available stats the player can choose from. If implemented only like this, this would result in having overpowered characters, since the game is made for only 3 basic stats. So the general attackpower/speed, magic damage etc. pp. needs to be lowered and rebalanced, maybe the Health and the Damage of the creatures need to be increased too. Bogdanovici
Health is mostly for warriors,it represents vitality,strength...the overall physical prowess.Magicka is mostly for mages, it represents the overall psychic strength....intelligence,concentration,willpower....also the bigger the manapool the faster it will regenerate (actually few know that the size of the manapool was the most important factor for mana regeneration and not willpower in Oblivion).Stamina is mostly for stealth/assassin like characters ,it represents the agility, speed ....the ability to defeat your enemies using speed and few but strong attacks. So those 3 stats are actually a representation of the 3 arch types warrior/mage/assassin and there equivalent attributes.Even if you add attributes it will be the same because all attributes it will actually affect the health/magicka/stamina.Its kinda of usless to have strength and endurance when both will affect the health(and btw in Oblivion strength didnt increase your melee damage but only your health and the weight you could carry). In my opinion theres no need for the attributes to come back ....the guys form Bethesda actually made a more efficient leveling system. Co0n
the guys of bethesda just made a system u don't need to think about anymore. It's less dynamic and less RP-like. Health does not represent "strength", it only represents what it says - health.I don't not say "bring back the old oblivion system", I just want more stats to think about and more options to develop my character.I'm not stupid, I can handle more than 3 basic stats.
