the best mod idea...EVER!

i am disappointed how trolls and giants are tougher to kill than dragons. and so, i request a mod that will make dragons tougher, and not just give them steroids that makes their firebreath 1hit me... like, make them bite and throw me a few feet and stuff..

 

you know, make their fights more tactical and stuff.

 

and i HAVE changed the difficulty and it didn't help they are still easy.. maybe its because i'm dual wielder tho.

I like this idea, however it does mean that you wont be able to access dragonborn shouts until lategame when you can actually kill dragons. Perhaps the mod should be to make them harder and harder as you level up so they're always equally hard, similar to the oblivion level scaling but just for dragons? Edited by Franzibald

Yes, this is a good idea, but it has already been said several times in the last 2 or so days. :pinch:

 

The first mod I'm making once the Creation Kit is out, is a Tougher Dragon mod, making them generally stronger. Depending on how the Dragon levels are laid out I may be able to make them harder as you level, but that depends on if the files are already fairly clear.

 

I cannot describe how much I HATE when a Dragon, the supreme creatures that the Gods themselves had to help Mankind overthrow, lose to a Sabretooth Cat. It's unacceptable and must be fixed. :dry:

 

 

EDIT: For the record, this isn't the best mod idea ever. The best mod idea is the ability to fully play as a Dragon. :tongue:

being a dragon is overrated. making a dragon more bad-ass as it should have been.. now thats something! and i guessed that ppl thought the same as me, but usually when people ask to make them stronger it ends up just buffing their abilitys to hit harder.. thats not more challenging its just more frustrating.

 

if you could think of a way to make dragon fights different than saber-tooth fights (other than the fact that they fly mostly) that we are getting somewhere

 

and all dragons are the same to me, be it ancient, blood frost or regular.. they die after 20 seconds in the ground.

Extra health seems enough to me. That and giant "Boss" Dragons, perhaps some Dragon "Bases" where they gather and attack from.

 

And I would disagree with your first statement, a lot. :armscrossed:

yes they do bite and throw but its a killing animation atm.. i can assume its the same with grab while flying and letting go (as seen in the teaser gameplay videos where the dragon grabbed a giant and flew off and let him go and the giant fell and died)

 

come to think of it.. wouldn't it be awesome if he could grab you and just take the fight to the air? like he is grabbing you but you control you arms so you can still attack him and cast spells and what not. doubt its achievable, tho.

 

a formation of multiple dragons? you will die in 20 seconds.. maybe not on easier difficulties tho.
