NCRSoleSurvivor Posted June 30, 2016 Share Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) Hi, so you might know the trick on getting both Ashley and Kaidan alive by using gibbed save editor where you set the following commands to true 13828 = Kaidan Alive (if you said Ashley survived at start of game)17679 = Kaidan Acquired(if you said Ashley survived at start of game)17685 = Kaidan Selectable(if you said Ashley survived at start of game)13827 = Ashley Alive (if you said Kaidan survived at start of game)17680 = Ashley Acquired (if you said Kaidan survived at start of game)17686 = Ashley Selectable (if you said Kaidan survived at start of game)However there is something I noticed that when you have them both alive by using the save editor and making those commands true, they no longer appear in the Normandy.The Normandy map claims that they are in the lounge room however when entering none are to be seen. This is kind of a pain since it ruins the atmosphere of the two being alive and you only being able to see them just by having them in your squad.Is there a way to get them both to appear on the Normandy when you've done those commands to get them both alive? Otherwise will anyone be able to create a mod or something that lets you have them alive appearing on the Normandy and many other missions after the citadel mission? The problem is the game often puts them in the same location in the observation lounge. I know in the Citadel DLC they're pretty much always in the exact same locations during the party...it's kind of a mess. Now, it could be possible if someone could move the characters around and such but it's way beyond what I know how to do. Only Kinkojiro I think would pull it off right now but I'm not sure it's on his radar since in ME1...one of them is dead and I don't know of a mod to change that or even a way to change that. I still don't know how to possibly pull it off at all. Never mind the fact that for it all to make sense Virmire would have to not go down like that and there's other references to remove as well. KkJiro Posted August 16, 2016 Share Posted August 16, 2016 The main problem is that on the Normandy and Citadel there are basically two sets of files. One set gets loaded when Kaidan is alive and another when Ashley is. Technically it would be possible to load them all at once, but it would likely cause a lot of conflicts and certain things that would be duplicated. As for the rest of the game there are so many times it asks is Kaidan alive? - true = do Kaidan thing, false = do Ashley thing, it would be very hard to fix them all. NCRSoleSurvivor Posted August 20, 2016 Author Share Posted August 20, 2016 Whether you create the mod or not, then I don't mind.I just thought it would be a real cool suggestion to have them both alive and appear on the Normandy.The only other time where you properly see them both alive (without being in your squad) with the command is on the Citadel DLC where they both appear (but in some instances clipped into each other).Either way, there are some other cools mods on Mass Effect 3 to enjoy that'll take your mind off of Kaidan/Ashley.I look forward to seeing updates on your EGM mod btw ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
