Midicow
I'd hope for realistic bloodpressure and clotting involved in this.Much unlike in the intro execution. The guy's head got sliced clean off with a mighty chop of a serrated axe. The major artery was severed for sure, and save for some magical cauterizing enchantment on that axe, an angry nord should be at least massively leaking blood from said severed stump. I guess it was to keep the rating low. That all said, limb severing is pretty much hollywood. It can happen, but if you're talking the swipe of a battleaxe, it'll still take quite a mighty slam to take a leg off, and even then you might have to try a few times to chop through the bone. sirius89
If modders could do this i would be VERY happy. Lets be honest here, the game is not bloody enough.Skyrim is a dark, cold, rough, nordic land where people smash their warhammer in your face before asking if you wanna drink something. The game should be goretastic but they wanted a 16 rating. :( What is needed: More blood in general when you hit someone.More blood when you finish an enemy.Arm+leg dismemberment I'am not talking about ridiculous amounts of blood just a bit more. Yeah more blood will add a little more grim to Skyrim, and mods don't need to overdo it and toss buckets of red paint everywhere. Just enough in relation to the attack. Would also make an area really intense to see the aftermath of a gruesome battle and limbs are left behind. If I run my sword through someone, I at the very least want to see a visible stain (on front and back of shirt/armor) where I ruined that guy's day haha. Selvec
I think you'll find because the decaps are scripted movements, that the setup for a system like Deadly Reflex likely doesn't exist. You know, unless Bethesda was nice enough to look at what mods where extremely popular on Oblivion, and see which ones might transfer over, then create a hidden structure for it to be implemented, but not implement it in game without the mod so they can achieve the R13 rating. Kairo29
^I really hope so. If they have the tools on deck or hiding under the bed for something like this to happen, that'd be really great.
abottwhite
@SelvecThis would simply be awesome! I really hope that it`s there already written and hiding just waiting to be activated ;) Nice to see the interest for this kind of mod is getting bigger and bigger and fandom grows! Good news is that it`ll be only just a matter of time till the dev-kit is out and from then on not much longer I think till it`s done. As the file-structure of Skyrim is very much like the one from FO3 it shouldn`t be that much of a big deal for modders of the scene so that`s cool. Kairo29
bumpity bump bump. So when is Creation Kit coming out? Also, back to the idea, anybody know how difficult it would be to animate new finishers? I'd even be happy with being able to do the dismembering during a finisher only or something. I just imagined using a maxxed out fus ro dah at an almost defeated (and maybe yielding/kneeling enemy) and having their head pop like a grape lol. I'm also not trying to start delving into things that sound like fatalities, but I just want to see my Dovahkiin's legendary powwwaaahhh! :)
EvilPhoenix
One handed > Savage Strike (20 % chance of dismemberment) actually i want more blood for finishers, when attacking enemies with Werewolf claws & sharp weapons + chance to cut arm or leg.Maybe someday it will be released.
