Kill Sanctuary lanterns

he you go. I thought maybe the candle was giving it off, the one in the bathroom, but nah, it's got it's own glow, and the light doesn't bleed too much into the bedroom and the bathroom, so it's the two, 1 in the living room ,and the one in the garage. I don't see anything else that could give off light.

 

 

the kitchen shot you can kinda see the brightest spot is where the lamp was.

OH MY !, that's not from the lanterns friend. that's an Entirely different light source and yes, it's really bad there.

Like wow !.

I will load it back up and get you some insight as to whats all there, this is different.

thoughts here? I need to know IF you want to keep the existing mod I made or start over because of what has been found out will change a lot now.

EDIT: here is an example and I have just now disabled these too.

Perr4me those oil lamps are placed with Packin's (I think there called in the Ckit) basically the lamp is a static which is why it can be disabled with a console command but there is also a light or two placed above them which can't be disabled with console.

 

They are not light like the hanging bulb.

 

The only easy way to get rid of them I see (and it's not so easy) is go go through the game and set them and there lights all to initially disabled. You can't just set up a scrapping recipe for them because of the lights.

 

Again I haven't looked at them to much and there may be a way but that's my take at first glance.

 

Edit: didn't see there was more then one page and I guess you figured out that the light isn't the light source. :rolleyes:

trust me, I do in fact know what to do, though not share much, I do indeed know how.

I provided the mod plugin for anyone to try and a shot showing it in action.

 

What I want to know is when Frontier will be ready? any thing new?

Frontier? Not sure what that is I'm working on Beantown Interiors I'm not a part of a Frontier mod.

that is a mistaken belief on my part, I thought you were. It's a thing Like Project Brazil is : Some data I wrote last year went into it and was kinda curious is all.

It's Beautiful! I can't see a thing! Thank you!! I haven't worked on any other Settlements to this extent, so I don't know if any of them have obnoxious lights or not, but I guess I know who to go to if there are! XD.

 

Thank you so much, you are a life saver! If you like making mods and such, might think about doing a Settlement Fake Lights deleted Mod.

I'm sure there are other's out there. Just an idea ofc. XD

I do apologize but one fix for request, not in it to make mods just fix things for people as I outlined in my post. Been down that road already with Anchorage Alive, two such mods and brought me nothing. Fights and arguments with another and still other reasons not wanting to make mods.

 

Fix whats broke, yes, I will do that. Too many opinions about how things work to bother....So I just do whats needed, that's all.

 

If you find something really annoying in the game? Somehthing not yet messed with? I will try if I am to understand the full extent of the problem as this one was.
