WarKirby3333
ok right now my main character is a battlemage, but i'm feeling generally weak and regretful about my perk points. at lv29, it feels like i've messed up a bit and i wont have enough to achieve my goals. So i'm probably going to do the "manual respec", of removing select perks via the console and giving myself perk points. i don't want to actually cheat and get more than i should have though :P the character focuses on offensive power with destruction magic, and a one handed sword. I also use heavy armor. In the long run i'd like to make dragon plate, have some decent defensive power, enough enchanting ability to get near-free spellcasting, and decently powerful spells. i'd like thoughts on how you guys would distriburte perk points, what to prioritise etc, with this kind of hybrid character
dartanian
Health for stats, And either invest a bit into a shield for just in case. And get your restoration up a bit, You should be fine even if you messed up perks
Serrimo
I'm playing my thief right now but have been thinking about rolling a battle mage. I would choose something like this:- Heavy magic damage: conjuration, destruction, heavy armor, weapon (1h or 2h), alchemy, enchanting, health + magic- Heavy melee damage: conjuration, alteration, illusion, heavy armor, 1h(dual yield dagger), sneak (enough to get x15 dagger), enchanting, smith Heavy melee damage with the aid of magic is a beast. I never tried dealing damage with destruction so I have no idea how that'd turn out.
elricshan
dual weald weapon. enchant them. one of the weapons must have drain life in case so you dont need to healt that ofthen (blade of woe can be used as it has great normal damage too) the other fire or ice have one of both in your inventory so you can use ice in fire dragons an vica versa. have your armor enchanted whit magic regen and reduced mana cost. switch beween dual wealding or spells after your own mood. thats how i made mine
KhelgarFK
I'm playing a Battlemage type similar to yours. 1-Hander/Spell/Heavy Armour and restoration. The best perks I've found so far (L24) are the Restoration perk which recovers stamina as well as health (endless power attacks and endless sprint ftw) and the dual cast destruction knockback perk - excellent for interrupting mages and keeping heavy melee mobs at a safe distance. Intending to enchant my armour with magica regen and magic resist mostly if possible. The flame cloak spell is very useful as a Battlemage too. Will be carrying various weapons with different enchants.
