One of the more fun aspects of Oblivion was the warring of the gobrin tribes, but there are no gobrins whatsoever in Skyrim that I've encountered yet. I did encounter those creepy blind elf-like guys with custom armor and weapons, but they aren't gobrins. I forget their name. Secondly, does anyone find these problems with Companions (They are very very frustrating)? 1) They can't ride a horse so I have to avoid horse use2) They will engage enemies sometimes when I am stealthing and not spotted3) If I enter a small room they tend to stay in the door way and make it very frustrating to get back out of the room. They should move out of your way if you are running towards them similar like for instance halflife 2 the rebels would back out of your way if you were running their direction and close to them4) They seem to have no backstory or uniqueness. One of the best aspects in oblivion with the companion mods like for instance the argonian companion is that they had a very rich backstory and had quests related to them.5) Inconsistency between how they die or don't die permanently. Most of the companions would live indefinetly which is horrible and ruins gameplay you can just stay in hiding and let your companion get raped over and over while you pop off shots from hiding for max damage (you don't even have to flip the crab) Yet I had one who died the first time they were bested rather than just kneeling like they normally do. He was killed by those blind elf-like creatures. (He was the a khajit companion). The only other companion I had die was one who betrayed me when I killed a wandering bard on accident because he was in a big fight with bandits and didn't know he was a friendly. It was the first companion you get from the first little town you find on the rivier. An archer oriented elf who trains archer skill. I dunno - It's sad that they are ... well what they are at the current state. I'm playing healer atm, let see how frustrated I'll be in few days....
