musiclover7
Ok.. I am sort of a noob, as far as this game goes. I picked it up on a suggestion from a friend, and have been playing for a few days. At first, I felt well matched against my opponents.. Now, 3 days in, everything I fight on the same roads that were once my stomping grounds kills me. It is like I moved up some levels, and so did the monsters, but I am no better for some reason, so now they take me out. very frustrating. I also went a bought a horse. Then I discovered that my character is fully capable of running as fast as a horse, which had me wondering why I bought the thing. I was hoping for fast movement throughout this big land. Instead, I move about the same speed as always, but I am less 1000 gold. Any suggestions?
billyro
Try putting the difficulty down in the options, upgrade your gear, and focus on increasing health.
CaptainChaos
the monsters do level up around you a bit, but they shouldn't be respawning that quickly. What kind of a character are you? Have you been upgrading your PERKS? If you are a warrior, put heavy perks into armor, shield or weapon. Carry lots of potions, stamina and health (or magicka if you are a wizard). If you are a thief, try attacking from cover, a long ways off, and stay crouched so you have a chance of remaining undetected.
phantur
Playing on the default difficulty (normal... right in the middle) and I mow through enemies like a hot knife through butter. Then again I'm an assassin type character... I just stand there and laugh as they stare right at me and still can't see me before slitting their throats as they watch... A few well placed arrows takes care of an entire room easily too... especially with the zooming in perk that slows down time...
legendaryred
Default difficulty for me when i started the game was expert. Just lower it down, no biggie :).
Jynku
Tell uswhat skillsyoure using so we can assess the problem. Without knowing that there's not mch anyone can say except turn down the difficulty. If you're new to TES then you're probably on defalt difficulty in which case you shouldn't be dying a lot. FlexySanders
Maybe you chose a wrong/difficult playstyle? At first I played with Spell in left hand + Sword in right hand to deal double damage.Turned out that this wasn't the right style for me, so I switched the spell for a shield (and also skilled the block perks). Holy crap, I tell you I'm now the DRAGONBANE! RIPPER OF ASSES! That reminds me that we need re-specs!
