HiddenRanger Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 (edited) -Look up what armor they are wearing-Find the item code for it-open console-Click on companion-type removeitem (the item code here) 1-then give them any armor you choose. :thumbsup: *or if you dont want to look up item code* -open console-click on companion-type removeallitems these methods work on npc's as well Edit: Actually it appears if you do it by removeallitems when you give the companion something new they go back to default clothes. HiddenRanger Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 (edited) 2nd Edit (I prefer not to delete things from original posts sorry) IMPORTANT- It appears that you can change your companions clothes by removing items with their item codes BUT you must leave at least one piece of original gear so that it doesnt reset the armor. ie. change all gear except the shield or whatever you dont mind leaving. The coding equips everyone with default gear. If you use removeallitems it -will- replace itself as soon as you leave the area you are in. I was a little peeved because all my companions who should be up close kicking a** in melee whupped out bows and pecked at the enemy from a distance :\ tried "Removeallitems", next thing you know, they pulled another bow out of their rear end.
