haasor
Is there a way to reduce the overall gold income by lets say about 50% without the developers kit ?My problem is, buying materials from vendors and invest all in the incredibly overpowered 3 professions kinda breaks the game for me, because its getting too easy even on master difficulty.Since i´m somehow not able to handicap myself manually, and dont wanna miss out entirely on the professions or buying things from vendors (what else to do with gold ...), im a bit bored with the game now since the real challenge is gone. I like to work for every piece of equipment thats better than iron, half the gold income from loots and selled items would help greatly. Please dont tell me just to not use professions or buying things ... because I know im gonna betray myself ^^ Is that possibly without the Kit or not? Yan42
Yeah, but the real problem is that you don't need smithing, because later nearly every enemy wears the craziest sh*t. So sooner or later you'll find the "epic" armors and weapons every 2 minutes, and that's what keeps me away from smithing (+ that the enemies get way too strong if you skill smithing to ~100 without having a combat skill above 50). Antagonistic
Well, smithing isn't just creating stuff, its also improving them, making smithing useful for 'found' equipment as well.

Sucked in Oblivion and sucks in Skyrim (currently don't even play it because of this and some other "problems").
haasor
So it´s probably not possible without the Kit right ? Thought so :( The thing is, after a 40 hour game as a mage on adept, I got to know how the game works, so I decided to start a new game that challenges me hard on master difficulty. Made an Orcish Warrior, crafted some stuff, made some gold in dungeons, crafted some more stuff, now I´m in superior orcish plate, my companion in superior dwarven plate and suddenly I´m steamrolling again everything. Well, except Frost Trolls of course, they still beat the crap out of me. So probably I start again a new game, this time without buying anything from vendors, only materials that I find or steal will be used. My hope goes into some realism mod, where I can kill every minor being with 2-3 Swordstrikes, but so the mobs can too. A Dragon´s Firebreath should roast you to coal unless wearing Fireresist Armor (which should also be needed too to play successfully) Sounds masochistic I know, but it adds some thinking and strategy and fear to this very straightforward combat system. Being dragonborn shouldnt mean to be a demigod or something, more like just being as every other strong human with the ability to shout powerful dragon words :) Really looking forward to all the Mods! :)

I guess I had to reload like 20 times for this one, till I used anti-fire potions and the battlecry of my nord. Should be so with most enemies. haasor
Yeah love this situations, sadly there are way too less of them. Perfect balance would be to only have to drink health potions If you make mistakes or not using environment, resist potions or professions at all, and making no mistakes should get you through the game fine. Of course noone is able to play perfect all the time. That´s probably very very hard to accomplish with all the stats, perks, items and levelscaling in the game, but we´ll see. Would also love to see an overhaul for the racials ... instead once a day for a full minute, should be every 4-5 hours or so and only lasting 8-10 seconds. Right now Im wasting 45 seconds of the buff every time I use it.

Hope it will look like that I can no longer do more than 1 or 2 dungeons per (in-game) day.
