CAN SOMEONE MAKE A MOD LIKE THIS??? PLEASE READ MORE FOR DETAILS!&

Ok from all the mods ive seen, they dont have any super gruesome ones to take out your urge to kill, and recently ive seen hostel 1 and 2, and so i was thinking, IT WOULD BE AWESOME if there was a hostel like mod where there is this big new town, where you can start a quest as one of the people who get captured and try to escape, or you can be one of the rich people who buy people to kill. I think that would be awesome, maybe add some special sfx like them saying PLEASE NO DONT KILL ME! or uh..... imma running out of ideas here.... uh..... :wallbash: maybe add a new weapon to this, and anything else you would want to add, but please i would really appreciate a mod like this. :thanks:

As interesting as the concept may be, it would take a fairly skilled team of modders with good scripting background and still wouldn't end up much better than that DB quest. At which point, it really wouldn't be worth the effort of making. Such a mod might even be seen as a bad idea since it would be mostly disturbed little teenagers would gain any real enjoyment from torturing people. This is also why there aren't many excessivly violent mods out there, skilled modders know and understand that some things are just irresponsible to do and release to the general public. Honestly, would you want some screwed up person getting ideas from one of your mods and reproducing it in reality? No offense, but if you have that strong of an urge to kill, you may want to considder some very real professional help. And I'm serious, every time some crazed idiot decides to act out in the real world and blame games it just makes it worse for everyone else. I don't care if it's you, or someone else, anything that encourages that kind of behavior is just bad, and if it ends up being reported as a mod which is the cause, game companies may be less willing to be as supportive of modding communities as they have. Any fairly intelligent modder wouldn't touch such a project, even if they are just pixels.

 

Even if you were one of the captives, it would still probably be quite limited by what most modders can achieve, and be a bit pointless.

No need to get offensive about it. There is nothing wrong with some sort of maze with a bunch of traps and other stuff, the problem is when the mod is based almost entirely around just torturing NPCs. It's one thing to see it being done in the movies, it's another being able to re-enact it hundreds of times over in first person. Not to mention the limitations that oblivion even allows for anything like this would probably make such a mod rather boring for someone who wasn't significantly disturbed already, and can actually fixate on those sorts of things.

also at least its better idea then what some people come up with, besides it would be a work of art aside from all those crummy savegames that people keep uploading, and also theres a michael jackson mod that lets you kill him, r u saying that that does not make people want to go out and kill mj? if you ask me, my request is not that bad.

:biggrin: If You ever remember that thieves guild quest where you see amusai in that torture room, you could just take that room cell and create a duplicate of it somewhere else and have your own like prisoners to torture..... :biggrin:

:thumbsup: on the main quest you get to go to that cave (forbinden grotto) near the end /.... you could copy that room and make it like.... a torture room with the cages and all..... :thumbsup:

Hear hear! What kind of sick, twisted person wants what is, basically, a torture simulator!? It's the (few) people like this which give people like Jack Thompson ammo to fire at the games industry, and I don't like it.
