Some books give you skill levels and some give you quests/map locations.

Are there any cheap books that give you skill levels or quests/map locations? Just curious, because after a couple of hours of playing, I stopped reading the cheap books. I just look at the price -- any book that is worth more than 30 or so will increase your skill or be useful in some other way. I've never found anything useful in the cheap books. They are just filler, as far as I can tell.

Looking for a modder to make a mod that will modify the books throughout the gameworld with a new name for books that have been Read and books you have not read.

Some books give you skill levels and some give you quests/map locations. But there are many duplicates of books out there and its hard to keep track of which ones you have looked at. Going up to a bookshelf to read each book everytime you see a bookshelf is a terrible waste of time.

For Example.

Book Title: The Legend

After Reading: The Legend (Read)

Before Reading: The Legend (Unread)

Added Idea from Number28

- Remove the book floating in an out animation when reading a book.

Put the books in a container. I collect and steal books all the time, unless I have them already. When I went home and put them all into a drawer, I wanted to keep my chest clear of books(dragon bones only), I noticed some were in read and some were in white. Not all the books I gathered had been opened and then taken. I imagine that is why it was like that. So from what I could tell this is already done.. maybe a mod to trigger it only after you reach the last page though. As just opening a book and taking it not reading it.. it would give a false positive.

This idea was more about finding them in the world then from a vendor.. easily knowing which books on shelves in castles that you have read and ones that you haven't.

Again this is more about finding them in the open world then stealing them. I found no need for keeping the books after I have read them but I hate reading the same books over and over again. A simple read/unread addition to the item name would be perfect.
