cregor
Ok I have done my due diligence on research and found the following fixes that helped out tremendously, but its still broke as all ****. My first problem was "mouse lag", I was able to fix this by turning off the vertical sync by adding the following line to my ini file:iPresentInterval=0 My second problem was "mouse stuttering", I was able to fix this by turning off Mouse Smoothing or Acceleration by changing the following line in my ini file:bMouseAcceleration=0 My third problem is the infamous "Y axis sensitivity", Everyone recommends adding the following change to the ini file:fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0200fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0200 They then recommending lowering (yes this seems backwards) the fMouseHeadingYScale until it fixes the Y axis sensitivity. Some of the numbers I have seen arefMouseHeadingYScale=0.0140orfMouseHeadingYScale=0.0100 I kept tweaking the YScale down and it seemed to get better to a point, but now no matter how long I make the Y scale it doesn't help, here are my current settings:fMouseHeadingYScale=0.00005fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0200 Any help is greatly appreciated, my game is unplayable at this point and Bethesda hasn't responded to my plea for help. Brandy1123
The mouse Y axis is tied to the frame rate. The better the system you play it on the worse your "Y" gets. 11 things you can try; 10 : Make sure Vertical Sync is off for your game/graphic card01 : Turn off all Mouse Accelleration or Mouse Smoothing (Control panel - mouse)11 : http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=34 < ----- this is a frame rate limiter You might only need to try the first two. If they don't work, try the third one. You shouldn't have to adjust the mouse through the ini file. Edited March 28, 2012 by Brandy_123
