David Brasher
Have I come to the correct conclusion in thinking that if a computer has PCI-Express expansion slots, then this computer can not have a new PCI-Express 2.0 graphics card plugged into it, and a somewhat outdated PCI-Express graphics card would need to be found and used instead? This computer is a little over a year old now. Edited November 17, 2011 by David Brasher
Maskar
No, you should be fine using a PCI-Express 2.0 gfx card. It will just use less bandwidth, which shouldn't be an issue. There seems to be an issue with very old motherboards with PCI-Express 1.0a though, rather than 1.1, but as you have a newish computer it will probably be 1.1.
