Tropxe
Whenever I kill the old female dog (take that, auto-censor!), the young one starts running around saying "I surrender! You win!" even though at the time of the murder she was (i) two rooms away (ii) two closed doors away (iii) asleep. If I kill the nice one first, then kill the old woman, the kids first of all start saying "Yay! We love you Dark Brotherhood!" for a while, and then start running around in panic and saying "Get out! Help us! Leave me alone!" and guards and other NPCs magically appear and attack me. It'd be nice to do this quest without an NPC going insane. Draco856
Has no bearing on the quest, or stealthiness of the kill.
Tropxe
Okay, well I was a bit cautious of the woman being relevant to future quests or storylines, but if she isn't I guess it's not so bad.
Snowsong
You're not supposed to kill the nice one. If you just kill the evil one and leave the house, you get away without the guards coming to get you. HOWEVER, the Dark Brotherhood will "know" you killed an innocent and come and find you to invite them to their brotherhood. They'll come regardless, though. PallePumpgun
Alternatively use the "killable children" mod, then butcher the kids one by one in their sleep silently. Then take out the nice lady, then take out Grelof. It's silent, efficient and way more gratifying. Also, use the "no essential npcs" mod to be able to kill the kid who gives you the quest, after you complete it; no child should have the conscience to have a grown woman murdered. chrismgtis
I simply stealth killed one (no real perks that would help me do so) while she was in bed. The other didn't notice.
