dragjov58
Hi everyone.First of all, I hope this is not wrong place to post this topic. If that is the case, I'm very sorry... Please, move this topic to proper place. I've never made a game mod. Next, I don't play a lot of race games. But I simply adore Need for Speed: Porche Unleashed. What I was wondering, is there a way to mod this game, cause I would like to do it? I'm ready to learn (I know a thing or two about 2d graphic, and 3d modeling)... I would like to know what software should I use to mod this game? I can't seem to find any post about this, anywhere... There is only one small graphic enhancement mod that can be found on the Internet, and that's it...Can you help me somehow? Do you know a way to mod this game? Thank you all for your replies (If I get any :( )
Rabbit1251
Some games will support modding and some will not. Those that support mods will provide something like a Creation Kit which will make it relatively easy to modify the game. Those games that do not support modding will require you to go in and change the computer code yourself. This requires a lot of knowledge and a lot of time. It is definitely not for the uninitiated. dragjov58
Thank you for your reply. I understand what are you saying, but this game is quite old... I wouldn't expect to get CreationKit for it... I think that someone also imported more cars into this game, I'm not sure is that the case... So I guess it's possible, just not easy...Anyhow, I'll try to find a way and, as I said, I'm ready to learn...Thanks again...
RoyBatterian
The place you want to look is probably NFSCars.net , you can add cars to the game and make tracks too iirc. You can do this with most of the NFS games as far as I know. There are other sites dedicated to modding the NFS games too, just search for NFS cars and you will find plenty.
