LoganOleary
Ok ...I had a CookedPC folder in my main Witcher folder, then I did copy the cookedpc folder from the file into that, still didn't work. I ended up deleting all the Cooked folders I found thinking I'd start from scratch. I do have Steam but I'm not using it for this. My Witcher folders seem to be in two places, program Files and My Documents. I have both Program Files and program files (X86) not sure the difference. Guess I'll have to look for the Cookedpc and try opening the file then send? or c&p? the Cookedpc folder from the file to the main Cookedpc folder in my Witcher file..if I'm understanding you. Think that's what trips me up, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to Open, or Extract or Send somewere. Unpacking I assume means Extract, but the instructions for the Triss file say to Copy the Cookedpc file directly to the main Witcher folder. Trying to do the same for the succubus nude file and Shaylea(sp?) see through bra Edited November 20, 2011 by LoganOleary
dragonbird
CookedPC in My Documents shouldn't be there - it's probably a left-over from one of your failed attempts. If you have both Program Files and Program Files (x86), it will be somewhere in the (x86) one. So the easiest way is.- Find the folder in Program Files (x86) that contains CookedPC. I think that this is called The Witcher 2, but you'll need to check for yourself. Let's call it that for now anyway.- Unzip the file you downloaded into a temporary location somewhere.- Select the CookedPC folder in this temporary location- Copy and Paste it into the The Witcher 2 folder. You should then get a warning that CookedPC already exists. Tell it to go ahead, and let everything copy across.
