Lets just start by saying I LOVE Skyrim, im addicted to it. But the looks of armor really leave some to be desired

But the armors leave some to be desired, the first few armors look really great, my fave is Steel Plate.

But Orc Armors... looks pretty bad. Like someone took inspiration from a Japanese Samurai that cross bred with a Chinese archer that cross bred with a vagina. (kinda).

Ebony armors... could look better, it looks like a Jedi's slim-fit nylon uniform.

Daedra, thats when it just goes haywire and looks like a velcro gone mad. Also, the choice of armors are not very varied. Orc, Ebony and Daedra all seem to denote that the wearer is evil, why can't we have a lighter, more righteous-looking armor. Especially for neutral / good players or for those who just want to look well protected due to the durability of the material and not some daedra demon spawn magic.

i have to disagree. playing a female warrior, i thought that dwarven looked too bulky, but orcish armor looks just right. In addition, the orcish helmet is fantastic. Best helmet i've seen in the game by far. it's ythe only one i dont feel silly wearing.

i've never seen a full suit of ebony/dragon/daedric yet though

I've always thought that customizing the exterior facade/colors of each standard armor should be an option when creating armor in the game (same with weapons).

Bethesda's attitude has always been that the Mod Community will take over this small need and provide unique options to those who want their players to look "different". However, this is only available on the PC version of the game...and us Console Users are sh**t out of luck.

My attitude is...you can never have too many customizable features in a game.

The Daedra set looks absolutely amazing.

First post confuses me.

i agree.

i especially love the helm looks like a dragon's head and so adds to the whole dragonborn theme.

the dragon armors looks totally fugly although the helm looks nice it just doesn't fit with the rest of the armor.

the nightingale armor is another totally badass set

I quite like the Dragon set except the helmet ruins it, but agreed, definitely happy that Daedra is better. They look far better than they did in previous ES games, pretty much every set that's made it to Skyrim has been improved imo.
