Mod Merging

Is there anything currently available to Merge mods similar to the Wrye Bash/Wrye Flash for Fallout 4 ? Have used FO4Edit in past, but not a "true" Merging; some holes. Need something, more (dare I say) IDIOT Proof. Something that can do large or small batches of files; large would be better. Edited by concepts2a

Unless I'm misunderstading you, the merge scripts for FO4Edit seem to work fine.

I've merged several plug-ins to cut down on my load order with no issues whatsoever and some of the Modders have used the script to merge their own work as well.

I will qualify this by stating I'm an enthusiastic Amateur and that any advice I give should be vetted before implementation! :)

The link takes you to the Skyrim Merge Plugins xEdit Script. Does this script also work ok for Fallout 4? Just asking because I've used Plugins xEdit Scripts before for FONV but thought they were game specific. But maybe they are not?

My advice would be that the Merge Plugins xEdit script under Skyrim is fine. Just don't merge any mods that have scripts or MCM menus. And filter for conflicts before you merge in F4. Look through everything and make sure your plugins are in the order that you want for the effects they provide. Lighting, weather and environment mods can be tricky unless you set aside a few hours to pore over the records and keep the aspects you prefer.

Always make a conflict resolution patch to include in your merge. It will make you life easier and you'll spend less money on keyboards :)

im been just starting out and i would like to do with for mods this give more then one esp, or patchs and or move all mods into a pack like esp. (like all my armors into a esp so i have one and not over 2 or more esps. im at 220 mods turned on this is not counting the other esps i need to make them run or they add.. when i do it goes 255 easily.. really wish i could merge the mods together. (guns with guns armors with arms. and merge the edited merge pack so weapons would load into the game. im at this level atm just makeing so must of my weapons load into me game.. )

but in order to do this i would love to know how to do the higher level work since i have no clue..
