Yourname942
Does anyone know how to set this mod up? It is not working for me: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/246/?tab=5&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D246%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D2267279&pUp=1 I currently have the controllermap.txt file placed in the data folder (E:\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\data)I also have deleted the ControlMap_Custom.txt in the Skyrim main directory (E:\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim), but the LB + directional pads are not working... MrTehNoms
If you are using MO for your modding, even your manually downloaded mods need to be put in through MO. You're gonna want to archive the mod folder then install it using the box and CD button on MO. The author should have the folder and files set up so that you shouldn't have to do much else.If that's not an issue, try renaming that controllermap.txt to ControlMap_Custom.txt like it was in the vanilla game folder. Skyrim may be ignoring the one you have installed because it might be looking for the one with a particular name.

Yourname942
1) I unziped the file:2) renamed that file to ControlMap_Custom.txt3) re-archived the folders containing the file4) installed manually "install a mod from an archive" (ie. the button at the top left of MO) 5) Now SKSE won't even open...6) I tried unchecking the mod in the left list, and even made sure to run as administrator, and even restarted my computer, but nothing... Now I can't even open SKSE....
MrTehNoms
There was a time in my early modding days when I screwed up and couldn't start SKSE. I just removed all traces of the mod I was working on and reinstalled it after making sure it would start again. This time, just install from the archive at the beginning without messing with it. If it doesn't work then, go to wherever you put your MO directory and find the folder for this mod in that directory. Root around in there for the txt file, but be careful not to change anything your unsure of. Edited July 10, 2016 by MrTehNoms

MrTehNoms
Oh my god, that's super weird. Hmm. Make sure that for the MO apps, these three look like this...If all else fails, there are forums where people asked about this. I just got lucky with an easy fix, I guess.https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1035464-skyrim-v-skse-not-working/http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/828927580796160135However, if this gets to feeling like it's all over the place, you may want to just purge everything. I have ridiculous patience, so I'd suggest leaving that as a last resort if MO is really hating you right now.
