Feet

While we're at it, can we get some shinguard variants of some of the boots? Argonians and Khajiits shouldn't wear shoes if they have claws, especially since the khajiit look like they have padded feet for silent movement like real cats...

And for argonians... Who wears real shoes while swimming? (Or armor at all lreally, but hey, claws)

I guess fingerless gloves/shinguards are needed for a lot of armors this way, but most of the light armors are already fingerless I think.

Need I say more? FIX PLZ

Ya I just got that quest yesterday and I took a good 2 minutes just going at different angles seeing if my eyes were deceiving me. I have disliked most of the texture's quality, but the model of feet is just horrible. I'm pretty sure Morrowind had better models for feet.

uh huh, I noticed this too. Talk about cutting corners in the wrong places, eh? I went back into Witcher 2 to take a look at Geralt, and he does have modeled feet with toes. I don't get it, even in Fable 2 and 3. the human models are far superior to what we have here in this game. I am not crazy about the hands either, they just don't look right, almost skeleton hands in some views. But the Argonians and Khajiits don't look quite right with the boots, and they look undersized at that. My 'dumpster warrior' has a large physic and very small feet, even with the boots...LOL! oh well, I'll just ignore it, maybe the modders will come out with something. I'd love to put 'Robert's male and female bodies in this game. oh well...

Yeah. Plus I'm sure a lot of the elf players will appreciate the shinguards too.

I dunno. Beast races should look kinda monstrous, taking away their shoes and making their armor a little more ragged/makeshift works wonders for that.

I dislike the beast races in TES primarily because they are too humanoid. I wonder why Bethesda never retconned them to look truly bestial. Back with more limited setups, I could forgive slapping a car head on a human body, but there's no reason why corner cuts like that should exist. If it's for the sake of preserving their traditional look, then all locations that were in Arena should have been rebuilt in the 3D space block for block.

Are there any mods for previous TES that gave unique skeletons to the beast races?

Well in Morrowind, they were digitigrade, so they looked more like beasts and had their own unique skeletons. They couldn't wear shoes and they couldn't wear most helmets.

Digitigrade means their leg structure is like how the werewolves are in this game, third of the way down there's the knee, then another third down there's the ankle, then there's a really long foot going the rest of the way to the ground. They walk on the balls of their feet rather than their heels like humans.

So you know, like a lot of animals.

Maybe there'll be a mod that returns them both to the morrowind look...
