Sexyowl Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 I love maps, but I find that the Map Mods available on Nexus for Skyrim are really poor - even the much acclaimed 3D ones. The best map I have seen is the Skyrim V2 one available on the UESP Wiki. Can a mod be made that allows a player to access this map in-game? Using a keystroke or so, just like the current in-game map. As a reference - which is what the in-game map is supposed to do anyway. Tabbing in and out of the game doesn't work for everyone (instant CTD or freezes for some). I know its a very detailed map and can spoil immersion but some users don't necessarily mind that and there are many mods that do break immersion even worse than this will. Plus it can have the basic descriptions just as the current UESP map or not. And it can have a choice, where the player can decide which map they wish to use for the playthough.
