  1. When using Vortex and launching the game from within Vortex a message pops up saying that the save game requires data from plugins that are not there...the Community Patch (always) and varying .esm files (it varies). I then need to log out of the game, back to the desktop, and then relaunch Starfield. Is this normal and to be expected as players are using the plugins.txt enabler?
  2. For many of the issues people are stating that involve NMM they don't look at MO2, especially the sorting issue...that's what LOOT is for. Yeah, Vortex has it built in, but you can access loot from MO2. It works for me. Plus, I'm a big fan of the virtual file directory which leaves my core SSE files untouched. Finally (and this is personal), I detest tiles on my desktop. I can see perfectly fine without those big ugly things in front of me. Modern UI has its detractors.
  3. @ commissarmike - you could port it yourself...there are very good guides on how to do so.
  4. Not if its for your personal use...meaning its not posted on any mod sharing site.
  5. In response to post #67112626. #67115681, #67124886, #67127016, #67146156, #67156841 are all replies on the same post. Its these little rants of entitlement from little children that makes a distasteful situation even more so.
  6. HEEEELLLLLLOOOOOO!!! YOO HOOOO! Anyone home at Nexus?

I live in the Caribbean and we only have those sorts of prices and limits on mobile data. Our cable internet network (glass or copper) is much faster and cheaper than that.

I have had many problems with some GOG games which simply refuse to run. Their support is so bad that I have simply abandoned any hope of me ever playing them. If I see one i like on GOG then I purchase it, but there is a huge risk that it will not work. I have never had that issue with Steam.

I have read some of the user comments when searching for information on a mod. Most of those complaining about the attitude of mod authors simply refuse to read the descriptions or any other information provided. If you have a problem with the author who is providing something for free then don't use the mod or make your own. The CK is there. Simple. Some users remind me of spoilt little children who whine and grumble when nothing goes their way.
  10. Disabled LTTF, but no change. It could be Hearthfires Extended according to the description on that mod page. I tried using Jaxonz Positioner to change some positions and it worked fine for the fences and mill but there are some rocks on the left of the building that are hollow (I can walk through them) and the whole rear of the house is floating. Its too much to shift all over.
  11. In response to post #43549550. #43551830, #43561140, #43562455 are all replies on the same post. And he is extremely helpful and willing to give advice.
  12. Sorry for the late reply. Work's a killer. Thanks for your recommendations. I don't use ELFX (ELE and Relighting Skyrim work ok for me). And the load order is correct. I did see on the LTTF page that someone indicated that there is some conflict with Hearthfires and that mod. The mod author recommended Dawnguard, Dragonborn and then his mod's .esm followed by Hearthfires. The guy posting had LTTF after Hearthfires and it cause a tear very much like mine, so I was hoping that this was the culprit. I opened it in TES5Edit and the conflict was there but it seems that Hearthfires wins out. Still, I disabled the mod but haven't had time to boot Skyrim up.
  13. The only mod I can think of is Landscape Texture Transition Fix. Will try disabling to check.
  14. Hi, I am asking for help in this section because it the request deals with Hearthfires - an official DLC. I bought the land for Windstad Manor and started to build. However, right at the start it asked if I wanted the animal pen and garden. I said yes. The I realised the following: 1] the animal pen fence and bale of hay were floating...I walked under them. 2] the garden is partially buried under the house and the fence is buried under the hill. 3] the mill is buried under the hill. 4] the rocks on the side of the pen are hollow. I can walk down from the top but walk underneath them (and the fence) if I am coming back up hill at the side of the house. 5] there is a huge tear/seam right on the side of the steps where the clay patch is. I can see through it but its not large enough to fall through. This is my second playthrough but first with Windstad ( I had Lakeview and Heljarchen before) and I have never seen this before. The only mod I have which should affect that location is Hearthfires Extended. Can anyone help please?
  15. I like the redesign...its whether certain features actually work properly. For example, I am tracking files so that I may know when authors update mods I use. The feature always tells me nothing has changed but when I go to the mod page I find that this is not the case. Also, the search feature is borked to some extent. If I can type "Mod Organizer" in the search field and all the mods that modify mod organizer come up but not the main mod itself...then something is wrong. Google often does a better job of finding mods on Nexus than the Nexus search.
