Can't start game due to errors

Recommended Posts

Hi i recently re-downloaded Witcher 3 because i decided to buy the two new DLCs. After getting through the prologue i decided to install some mods, i couldn't get all of them to work because im not that familiar with the Script Merger so i decided to remove half a dussin mods so i can finally start playing the game. But it wont start and is showing these errors:

Error [content0]game\replacers\ciri.ws(327): Function 'GetCriticalHitChance' takes 5 parameter(s) which is inconsistent with base function (3).
Error [content0]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(1634): Function 'ApplyOil' has different return type 'Bool' than base function (void).
Error [content0]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(2039): Function 'GetCriticalHitChance' takes 5 parameter(s) which is inconsistent with base function (3).
Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(30): Global native function 'EnableDebugOverlayFilter' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(32): Global native function 'EnableDebugPostProcess' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [content0]engine\showflags.ws(11): Global native function 'DebugSetEShowFlag' was not exported from C++ code.
Could somebody please help me i really want to play the new DLCs. I know the last three lines are from the debug console but i don't get why it doesn't work i have installed the x64 2015 pack and i put the mod files in bin/x64 of the witcher install directory. I have no idea what the first three lines are.

Shadow, since you mention redownloading the game, I'm guessing that you have the game from Steam. Verify your game cache through Steam. That will check the game's base files and redownload them if necessary.

Open Steam and go to your Library. Hover over The Witcher 3 and right click. Choose Properties, then Local Files and finally, Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Let that run, then start the game as usual. This should sort things out.

Good luck! :)
