NickSully
Well, after saying that I gave it one more shot, and I have no idea how I did it but it now works and does not break Better Vampires! How exactly should I package this up as a mod? Do I just put the .pex and .esp into a .zip folder?
lofgren
I think you're almost there. You can create a bsa if you feel like it, or package it as-is. Edited July 14, 2016 by lofgren
NickSully
It's definitely working for me now.For some reason it seems to usually trigger aggro when I transform in front of people, but not always... whatever, i've already spent far too long on this and I think it's good enough to just run out of town, transform, then walk into town with no aggro. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77096 Hopefully I've packaged that up right and it works for other people too. lofgren
There should be a line in the script somewhere that says game.sendwerewolftransformation(). Any NPC who can see the player when that function executes will turn hostile (unless their crime faction ignores werewolf crimes).
NickSully
Erasing that line still does not seem to work. Again it's the guards playing up. Transforming in front of citizens they don't seem to care but guards immediately aggro (and in doing so, trigger citizen aggro)Also tried changing(CrimeFactions.GetAt(cfIndex) as Faction).SetPlayerEnemy(true) to (false)At this point I don't really mind. From my perspective it's within the bounds of immersion that a vampire lord could come flying into town and use his power to pacify/subjugate the population, but a seemingly normal guy suddenly bursting into some scaly beast would probably be enough to shock most people out of their trance and make them realise it's a monster.
