Purr4me
most likely due to the mods involved, it's a mod conflict and you will find out which mods are at fault by loading them in game, but you need a game that operates first. Fallout3.esm by it's self should run, if it does not, then we look somewhere else and determine why. EDIT: IF not? then you "still have the wrong Fomm versions installed." Purr4me
I ...don't know..?I am puzzled." (https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4669505-completely-overwhelmed/page-5&do=findComment&comment=40565360 ) " what happened here from that point to now? Post the contents from the current plugin.txt file please. Then while I examine the facts, do a steam catch refresh of the game and then launch it from there after it completes. something is screwy here? ZpIIlz
oh my... no wonder it won't launch with just the base game. The plugin text says: "Anchorage.esmFallout3.esm" Fallout3.esm isn't the first thing being loaded, even when it's the only thing enabled.
Purr4me
like I said, something screwy is going on there.."some how" ?? :geek: and all I know is to run the sort thing in fomm, OR delete the plugin.txt file and run from steam the game launcher
Purr4me
took me 5 minutes to down load a fresh copy from steam into a fresh copy of steam of GOTY on High speed 4gig network here, ran the game raw and it runs fine. Purr4me
I did that because I was wondering IF steam did something to the games files they distribute. OR if there was a problem downloading data from them?
