Completely Overwhelmed... :(

the shot you posted Shows an entry for Martigens mutant mods data, a control that requires the mods to be installed.

"MMM Control Pannel"

There are varying installation packages, of them there is a combo that will consistently cause CTD's.

OF them, there are integrated sections from MMM that are already in FWE. IF those are loading? you will CTD a lot.

Because I see this is installed ?

FOSE_related.jpg

It means your no longer running a Vanilla game.

Any mod that requires FOSE are Explicate (to develop the implications of : analyze logically) made mods and are not so easy to integrate, each type was built with a specific version of control FOSE in mind. The code will not work as one does all. That alone will cause untraceable conflicts as FOSE does all of it's work in a field we can not see; not debug easy. It's invisible. mix and matching code variables OF FOSE is not something I do. It's known to cause problems.

nothing wrong with the mods, just the functions can not be overlaid upon each other as design changes means version changes. That will cause CTD's

send to me current saved game file

https://www.dropbox.com/s/wqfni7ptbo0d1qu/SpiLz%20Save.rar?dl=0

in spring vale, there is a place for safety storage, here is that location. put all your stuff in that from vault 101.

That silver trunk. in the games main menu, turn off all auto saves and use casm as a save manager, set that to 1 minute intervals and leave it alone from that point on.

Do i HAVE to, really? Because I have to be completely honest, I have a VERY specific backup process that I do with my save-games and I don't want anything handling them for me. No auto-save nothing. ONLY my manual saves when I want it to be saved.

When playing, I try to do one quest at a time without activating any others. When I complete the quest, I backup and delete all but my most recent save into a RAR. Then name that RAR something like "001 Vault 101", "002 FWE Alt Travel", "003 Animal Rescue" ect. I make literally thousands of saves and rack up save-game backups in the gigs of size. I would have it no other way.

It's because I don't want to overwrite ANY of my save-game files. I want them all to be hard saves at every major point in my game. Aaaaalll laid out nicely in chronological order like a big story. Every time i discover a new area, right before I level up, right before leaving to travel to another area, before selling all my loot to the traders, all these things and more are manual saves carefully make. All small parts of each compressed "chapter". Each save is made at a specific location. I even take care to save in a way that the screenshot attached to that save is intelligent. No looking down at the ground or up into the sky thumbnails.

I really don't want to give that up for something else that just makes auto-saves once a minute and keeps overwriting itself. I don't see my system working with CASM

correct me if I'm wrong, though. I've never actually used it before.

your characters health status is important, if you are weak, you will crash a lot.

My characters health never actually drops below full. Ever. I never ever use any sort of healing or anything either.

I ONLY sneak kill from a distance and (admittedly) I do abuse the quick-save feature from time-to-time. If I miss, quick-load. If I'm seen, quick-load. If my dogs get attacked, quick-load. Basically just keep quick-save/loading until I completely clean out whole areas without being seen/touched.

It's a play-style habit from YEARS of Metal Gear Solid. (and probably unmedicated OCD)

Same with lock-picking, pick-pocketing and hacking, but I rarely touch those because I like my Karma to be perfect. I quick-save before every person I talk to as well, in case there is a dialog option that has a percentage change of success. If I fail, I load and re-try. Even if I have a 1% chance of success, I WILL just keep loading the game until i get what I want. I wouldn't be surprised if that bad habit is what's corrupting my game sometimes.

THAT is the reason why I make so many hard saves. I can afford to go back to ANY point in my game if I accidentally corrupt something from excessive saving. Nothing over-written.

Because I see this is installed ?

Where were you looking when you saw that installed?

I have never heard of "JIP Companions Command and Control" before. Let alone use it. Only Companion (aside from the dog) plugins I have right now are:

[X] Companion Core.esm

[X] RRCompanionVault.esm

[X] RR Vanilla Companion Integration.esp
[X] RR Companion Vault 20thCW Supply.esp
[X] Companion Core DLC Addon.esp
[X] RR Companions 250 Follow Distance.esp

Well that's nice. Considering MOST mods require FOSE to function.

----------------------------------------------------

Due to the way the engine treats file extensions these still remain out of order, this has nothing to do with file flags internally. They still need to be in order, not like this. An esp MUST always load beneath an esm.

--------------------

in your shot it plainly shows a mod has integrated Command and control.

Go to the site where you get fose ,and read it again ,each version is built specifically for things. you can't lump it all as one, but. I am not here to argue semantics about the processes.

Considering MOST mods require FOSE to function

yes..but which mods require which version?

what version was a mod built with ?

The reason I stay away from it is due to inconsistencies regardless of support. It's not part of the games make up, It changes the games Make up completely.

IF I try to load some ones saved game with it being Loaded with FOSE code, I can not load it period because I don't have FOSE installed, for that which the games archived data base, that saved game was also built on FOSE code and not the games software. fallout 3 will not work that way.

IF the author of the file , the saved game is running FOSE, and chooses to Omit the process and hard saves with out FOSE being active ,then I can run it here. It requires the source of productions to clean the file.

what is seen in THIS process is large amounts of gaps, data holes in the saved game. those gaps were produced by FOSE code, another term used is OPT code. each version has it's own "opt" codes, they are not the same.

I am afraid there isn't much here I can help with due to all of this. Too many chunks of data will be missing. You need help from some one with my skill level that runs FOSE.

I can go so far as to say, well all mods use SDK Xlive software to control it's achievements But wait, GFWL Kill off programs kill all of that.

Fallout 3 IS a game build for windows.

So should I go flip the flags for Sydney Follow and Imaginator to get them out of the ESMs? Because they both have the extension ESP but they are marked as ESMs.

You mean the screenshot of my inventory? If you're talking about that "<Companion Command>" option in the 'Apparel' section, then that's from "RR Vanilla Companion Integration.esp" ...is that the same thing? If not then I'm totally lost and I apologize.

I wish the "ultimate" guide a lot of people use would mention this.

If you go here and look at the guide, RIGHT at the beginning (you probably already now this) it gives you the download link for FOSE. But it's just a single download button for what I assume is the latest stable version. There is no reading to be done.

Well then what I am doing is wrong. Now that you have explained it this way, I feel that FOSE makes Fallout "dirty" and I honestly don't want it anymore. But I need it, don't I?

The bottom line isn't "I HAVE to use THESE mods". The whole goal here is to just get an absolute MAXIMUM Fallout 3 experience. Since I just (like two weeks ago) bought a brand new GPU, and haven't actually been all the way through the games yet, I wanted to celebrate. I THOUGHT that this meant loading up FOMM and just enabling everything I wanted. My system can handle it, right? I literally just went to the Nexus, sorted mods by most popular and downloaded everything that looks remotely cool by their pictures, titles, comments, and vague scan of the description. Some mods I downloaded just because they were large and popular. "look how many people download this mod! I MUST need it." Downloaded 16gb of mods manually, renamed them and stored them. Then I plopped them all into FOMM at once. That's what started this whole thing.

But then I started talking to you.

And you completely changed my perspective on the entire thing.

My objective has completely changed now. Now I'm going to want to try and run the game with as LITTLE mods as possible but with still getting the full experience. I'm tampered with damn near all of them now. I know what I want and what I like. What works and doesn't (sort of).

So forget my swiss cheese save files from FOSE. Forget my constant crashes and ENB struggles. I am interested in something else now.

..how can I optimize my game to be beautiful and full of extra content WITHOUT destroying it with FOSE?

all I have to go by is Google results, here ,. as it seems Google pointed to the wrong results.

RR's stuff, never seen that before.

I kept all My correspondences with that individual. A lot of that is my fault. For that , I am sorry.

Well then what I am doing is wrong. Now that you have explained it this way, I feel that FOSE makes Fallout "dirty" and I honestly don't want it anymore. But I need it, don't I?

Let's do this, look for an old mod ,heck even Fook Alpha will do. read the description and possibly find a link to the archived versions, once you get on that servers access that shows all versions? grab them all and save them.

this will be your own personal library so you have the data handy.

Each mod from posted date from way back has specific issues when distributed, but while in circulation, authors built and released their mods ,most never updated them.

The key here is FOSE will not run on a vanilla game, it will force you to update the game. Steam is already updated so this information will never traverse your screen. Know this now, you have an idea of just how complex modding can be. Some times things get sloppy, real sloppy.

-------------------

What you can do is take the time to Isolate FOSE related mods into a source folder in their original content packages and then do the same for non-FOSE mods.

Change the last letter of imaginator to read esm

That's a normal thing, we do call this a newbie experience. I did recognize that fact.

..how can I optimize my game to be beautiful and full of extra content WITHOUT destroying it with FOSE?

Time ,details I post and what is posted else where in my signature is ready and at hand as well as obtain Ordinate..and follow instinct , your going to use that source file folder from this point on. the game fallout 3 it's self is the first task, I have to warn you, it's not going to be a cake walk, not in the slightest.

-----------------

you have 3 monitors I am told? I need to know which dxdiag finds as default?

Although this is not fallout 3, the data posted does correlate with your wants and needs, it still is a Bethesda game but whats posted here seems to me to be of the same tree?

The res ponder NOTED a system attribute known to us and what I am going to "attempt " to teach you.

I might fail miserably too because these things take place in real time and you have to think on the fly, it does not always complete due to some files not removed from the target zone while in processing the data, some Default file extracted are indeed BAD from the start. Direct-x code is Microsoft's software and that is what's used in cutting down some data.

certain files I posted + some more are not to be in the line of fire ,like sound files or voice files, people and creatures, armors, ammo's, guns / weapons, buildings /architectures.

but the remains data is considerable less those outlined.
