ZpIIlz
install just one mod to establish a folder inside on the left My Mod manager shows all my mods already, though. Should I have deleted them out of my mods folder or something? http://2.1m.yt/6oNRG_J.jpg
Purr4me
OK, no do not uninstall any thing. make a temp folder on the drive to move all plugins too including their assets. IF you need a shot of what a Virgin folder should resemble I can post one. This process, what you want requires a virgin folder and it's not necessary to delete things you already have. your going to love this tool I guarantee that. If and when you decide you want it all back and want to run your old saved games ? all that is required is a single folder move directly to the mod folder and all is right back where it was...with exception..you now own a clean game folder. ZpIIlz
make a temp folder on the drive to move all plugins too including their assets. I have made a new folder: "C:\Games\Fallout 3" IF you need a shot of what a Virgin folder should resemble I can post one. Maybe, you don't just make a new folder and call it "virgin"? I like the sound of that Edited July 28, 2016 by ZpIIlz
Purr4me
hold on, and all your DLC content can be put into separate folders with in MO, so to choose making mods with out DLC content or other things. this saves you a ton of time. that is all you should be seeing there. Purr4me
that folder is / will be your target folder for asset extractions. BSA needed will be just mesh files and texture files.
Purr4me
Bethesda in their sloppy in a hurry to make a buck decided the DLC content did not need all the separations the main game received, so, they packed them up with every thing, including sound files, so we have some work to do to remove all sound files from those. NOTE: all DLC's are unpacked in sequence of use, that means load order so they IF they do, and they do indeed overwrite other files. Are over written correctly as the game loads the data in that order...Live or static makes no differences. what you do will.
