Purr4me
I am flattered and honored. I'll try not to make a hash of it or waste anyone's time. How much of what is learned here can be applied to New Vegas, Skyrim or Fallout 4?pretty much, each game needs to use specific versions. IT is up to the user for choices, this version was the last version known to me to allow you to move the UN-managed files in mo or access the data directory, newer version do not allow that, not allow sorting of the left pages of the data folder contents. Why? don't ask me...My opinion means very little with them. All I know is what works and what does not work for a given instance, and that is all that counts. It is the results one gets that is important here. Time consuming setups require a lot of time. hell is in the testing yet to come. I am trying to contact one other person whom may be at work right now, messages have been sent out. we put together private documents that covers this games needs. the Bsa archives hold the games required data, as our data will act as an override, we need to remove some of it to prevent issues. it is going to depend on what there and your systems ability to handle the code properly. we did the textures, now the mesh files are being done along with a lot of waste. Teeth, characters, creatures, all of these will not be needed but are in the file path. we deal with the after math later. all of this IS required, it is not so easy. but I am here to make sure you get it done. ZpIIlz
I can already see how this could become potentially troublesome. Each system is different. Compiled of different hardware and software types and versions. I could very well see an error on my side that your system does not, or vice versa. it is going to depend on what there and your systems ability to handle the code properly. While my processor and chipset are nearly just as old as Fallout 3, (manufactured in 2009), they're not the newest around. But, it IS an 8-core i7. So it isn't like having a BRAND new CPU (no hyper-threading) but it is fast. I've never learned how to do a benchmark of my system so I've never done that, but if there's information you need regarding my computers technical specifications I would be more than happy to share. I think in the end, though, I think it's going to be a matter of wait-and-see. all of this IS required, it is not so easy. but I am here to make sure you get it done. I can't thank you enough, I'm trying my hardest to keep up. So far it's going well, but I have a feeling we haven't done any "real" work yet. Just setting everything up still. Once we get into actually modifying and testing, I can get my head wrapped around what sort of results I'm after. Sure, I have an idea now, but I don't know how realistic it is of a goal. Note: they shipped the game like this in both mediums, Plastic disc and downloads. No effort was made for quality and it's engine was designed around Junk....because of that, it's our Job to make changes to accommodate the Junk Thought. just pay attention to what the program is "auditing" and you will understand. no one will do this BY hand ever. now, the shot I posted about the true nature of what can be done with this games software is that result. I meant what I said, re-creating what I built is not possible for anyone else, it requires deep thought and careful attention to details. Lighting, materials conditions, placements, size, color ,DOF ,it all has to be accounted for on the fly. FPS was in excess of 60 + The basic setup just using defaults was about 30 on default code untouched materials. Just coded in size changes and remapping assets is all. you said you wanted to learn? well, your learning.

ZpIIlz
watch the screen processes, see what is getting edited / fixed. Note: they shipped the game like this in both mediums, Plastic disc and downloads. It's seemingly endless. It's been fixing the game aaalll day now. Started it right when I got up at 9am. Still going on my right screen here. It's appalling. No wonder it crashes so much for everyone. It's a mess.
ZpIIlz
just pay attention to what the program is "auditing" and you will understand. I've probably spent a good hour (collectively) watching it so far. It's memorizing reading it while it's going so quickly.
ZpIIlz
I meant what I said, re-creating what I built is not possible for anyone else, it requires deep thought and careful attention to details. Lighting, materials conditions, placements, size, color ,DOF ,it all has to be accounted for on the fly. I'm not yet exactly sure how all that is managed, but it sounds incredibly intriguing. I could get lost in software for months trying to make the "perfect world". Just have to become comfortable with it is all.

It's a mess.No longer a secret now is it...lol, yes. the textures paths are bad so the data requires all other data to be there so it CAN fix things and already optimized in order to have a gauge to go by <<< lamens terms. last time Iran this was about oh, when windows 8.1 was released. took I believe 37 hours to complete. This is the only way I know of to get even the slightest edge on things. once this is done, you can back up the data or create an ISO image of it before we begin. it is all the relevant data needed. some mesh files have some sound effects attached to them, thus the reason we included that. IF something is missing and there are things missing , the game was shipped missing tons of cut content, we won't need to worry about any of that. you'll see over time. Purr4me
there was a joke mod produced about a tree on New Vegas mods, after I made things maybe a year after it came out. It pretty much soured my appetite to post a mod like what I shown you. It's was not post apocalyptic enough. but even with Vurts...Bless his soul could not put a dent in what I made. Maybe fear factor was to blame, I don't know. I got cold feet. a tree: when you walk around a tree, what do you see? now, with mo, you have control to see....Just that and realize what this means. They claim seeing is Believing.
ZpIIlz
you can back up the data or create an ISO image of it Any software you prefer? I have always used Power ISO because I like it's...well...power.
